Wireless earphones have started ruling the world. From watching movies while travelling to working out to the beat, there’s one wireless earphone made for every lifestyle. And, with great choices comes great confusion. To dispel this, our Headphone Gurus decided to list out their favourite wireless earphones under Rs. 6,000.
Most wireless earphones in this segment are made from plastic and silicone. However, you do get some that are made from lightweight aluminium. In-ears with cables are lighter and easier to carry around with while neckbands offer more stability.
In terms of sound quality, wireless earphones at this price point sound a lot better than cheaper wireless earphones as well as the ones that came in the box with your mobile phone. Some, even sound as good as their wired counterparts. However, it is not possible to get a high-end audiophile-grade sound with any in-ear at this price-point.
Bluetooth codecs (Qualcomm aptX or AAC), which are responsible for improving sound quality when streaming wirelessly are very rare in this segment. In terms of battery life, expect a range that goes from 4 hours to 16 hours.
The Guru Says
"While the stylish design and huge battery life are appealing, it's actually the rich, warm sound that makes the a-Six Wireless a winner."
