In today's head-to-head comparison we look at two of the most popular earphones at the Rs. 5000 price point, the JAYS-a-JAYS Four+ from Sweden and theRHA MA650 from Scotland. They are both amongst the most popular and critically acclaimed earphones in their class. We thought we'd do a detailed buying guide to help you choose.

Both of these in-ear earphones have been applauded for various reasons, one for its amazing sound delivery, whereas the other for its durability. Both the in-ears come with an extensive range of accessories that is sure to keep you gazing. We ourselves were in a dilemma when asked to choose between the two. So we pooled all the differences together and thought maybe you could decide the one for yourself.

The a-JAYS Four+ is an all-new edition of the award-winning a-JAYS series. In order to enable safe storage and easy portability, the headphones come with a small carry case. The Android/Windows cable comes with an L-shaped jack whereas the iOS cable comes with a straight jack. The JAYS-a-JAYS Four+ in-ears are certainly amongst the best sounding earphones in its class. The driver units have been tuned to produce a subtle, refined and neutral sound that is extremely well-balanced and accurate.

Like most JAYS products, The a-JAYS Four+ packs tons of treble. The bass is heavy, and it is not been imparted intentionally and is due to their construction. No other in-ears at this price point manages to produce this level of accuracy.

Over the years, RHA has greatly been lauded for its solid performance. You will notice that the MA650, like all RHA products, does not disappoint. It efficiently delivers clear, powerful audio through the lightweight, driver housing. Along with the sonic and durability properties of high-grade aluminium. The audio is well articulated and makes for an entertaining listen.

As compared, to the MA650, the JAYS-a-JAYS Four+ is richer in its low-end producing a punchier bass making them more enjoyable to listen to EDM and Hip-Hop. The MA650 in this respect is certainly the more versatile earphone that will appeal to a broader range of users to across various genres.

No matter what, both the brands are very particular about delivering the best accurate sound signature, and as far as it is considered they are pretty damn close.
