CUTTING THE LONG STORY SHORT

"If you are looking for in-ears that will lend you a more detailed, rich and precise audio experience, then the SoundMAGIC E10C is your earphone.

If the Sennheiser brand and punchy bass is something you are looking for, then you should look at the Seenheiser CX275s."

DESIGN: SOUNDMAGIC E10C VS SENNHEISER CX275s

A noticeable upgrade to the older and very popular E10S, the E10C comes in a metal build. The unique 3 button in-line remote too comes in a striking metallic body. The metal build makes for an astoundingly durable body and surprisingly, this does not affect its lightweight feature. These in-ears are comfortable while also being conveniently portable.

The SoundMAGIC E10C is available in 4 different colours- the simple black, gold for those who wish to make a style statement, bright red and a vibrant violet. A nice thought, the red and blue indicators around the earpieces allows for quick indication of left and right.Branding has not been emphasized upon, all you have is the model name and brand logo on the back of the earpieces.

TOUGH TANGLE PRONE CABLE VS ORDINARY THIN CABLE
The Sennheiser CX 275s comes in a design that is in complete contrast to that of the SoundMAGIC E10C. It features a simple, lightweight design, with dark, metallic gray earpieces and black ridged accents. The body has been clearly built to look clean, without attracting too much of attention.

A major difference between the E10C and the CX 275s is the quality of the cable. Unlike most in-ears in this price range, the E10C features a tough cable that is coiled. The cord has been covered with a plastic sheath thereby making it extremely durable. However, we must add, the plasticky coating may come across as cheap to some. On the other hand, the C275s employ an ordinary thin cable that most earphones in this price range sport. You will want to take care of your cable to keep your earphones from getting damaged.

USABILITY: SOUNDMAGIC E10C VS SENNHEISER CX275s

A great feature at this price point, the SoundMAGIC E10C sports a super functional microphone and 3 button remote that carries a solid action. This means you can stow away your smartphone, while answering calls and controlling your music on the go.

The E10C packs along with it seven pairs of silicone ear-tips of varying sizes, including a double-flanged pair. There's also a small carry case , a shirt clip, and a double-pin adapter to use the headset with a laptop or computer.

WITH A PLETHORA OF ACCESSORIES, THE SOUNDMAGIC E10C TAKES THE CAKE HOME
The Sennheiser CX 275s comes with three pairs of black silicone ear tips, a cable adapter, and a small black carry pouch.

Unlike the E10C that comes with a 3-button controller, the CX275s comes with a one-button microphone and remote. You will not be able to control your volume and will thereby have to carry out the function using your phone. And although touted to have a universal remote, these in-ears may not be compatible with older devices.

To conclude, the plethora of accessories that the SoundMAGIC E10C comes with, clearly makes it a winner over the Sennheiser CX275s in terms of usability and functionality.

SOUND: SOUNDMAGIC E10C VS SENNHEISER CX275s

Here, we come to the E10C's biggest strength: its sonic performance. The impressive three-dimensional soundstage is clearly wide, ensuring that you enjoy a more natural sound experience.  The bass is heavy, without compromising on the mids and highs. It is amazing how the tones are perfectly separated without conflating.
Music from all genres sound great with this pair. Overall, the audio sounds clear and smooth.

A small complaint would be the noise isolation. You will find that these in-ears do not do not do a great job of effectively attenuating environmental sound. However, this does not depricate the value as this is a smaller issue. Further more, noise isolation and fit can be improved with a pair of Noise isolating Comply ear tips.

IMPRESSIVE THREE DIMENSIONAL SOUNDSTAGE VS PUNCHY BASS

On tracks with serious bass, the CX 275s provides ample boom, that too without distortion, even at high volumes. The CX 275s does manage to maintain a decent balance between lows and highs to some extent.

Sometimes, however, there is a  strange mid to high boosting. In specific areas, the highs are so boosted that there is a strange mix of elements that stand out dramatically.

Certain electronic percussive sounds can seem far too bright, even a bit harsh or tinny. You will find that these in-ears may get muffled in the pursuit of pumpy audio delivery.

Bottom line, this is the earphone for people who enjoy the added sheen in their music.
