This year, the Consumer Electronic Show or the CES that was held in Los Angeles a few days ago, came abundant with a year worth of headphones and other gadgetry and fascinated its audience worldwide, Headphone Zone being one of them. We were extremely awestruck with what we saw and read and hence thought of trying and summing it up in one article. To walk you through what seemed like a Goliath of gadgetry galore – the CES 2015.
Superbly hailing all the Star Wars fans of the world, 50 cent launched the Star War themed headphones. These headphones are extremely visually appealing and must be dream for all the Star War loyalists. Iconic designs and graphic prints, these headphones were a real package of joy. The 40mm drivers are for great sound and the foldable on-ear earcups are extremely durable and easy to carry and store. The package also includes collectible stickers and a certificate of authenticity. Everything a Star Wars enthusiast would want from his headphones is right here, though prices are yet to be revealed.
Sennheiser was a brand that was on fire this CES. They launched a set of headphones and even refreshed some. They refreshed their much commended and most acclaimed Momentum series. The Momentum 2.0are now wireless and Apt-X enabled with NFC pairing to boot. These headphones will also have a playtime of 22 hours which makes them all the more desirable. They launched the wireless version of Urbanite XL headphones that are Bluetooth 4.0 enabled and can pair with eight devices. These headphones come with an innovative tough panel for volume and playlist control and allow you to even take calls. See it to believe it.
Philips rolled out a pair of brand new pair of headphones that not only look astonishingly good, but also bring home an array of new features. They claim to be the world’s first active noise cancelling headphones that function without any batteries. The Philips Fidelio NC1L are over-ear headphones that can be connected to an iPad or iPhone with a lightning cable that draws power from the source instead of using its own. The natural voice calibration technology allows you to take calls clearly, while the noise cancellation is active. Constructed with audiophile grade components, the Philips Fidelio NC1L are sure to give you the premium experience they are out to serve.
Bang and Olufsen, a luxury brand of headphones as unveiled its new pair of headphones the BeoPlay H8 that is completely wireless and Bluetooth 4.0 enabled. The battery life is 14 hours and can even be saved with the use of a 3.5mm jack that comes along with these headphones, giving you a wired and a wireless experience. The design is classy and screams luxury. Created with high quality leather, fabric materials and aluminium, these headphones even sport a touch panel in one their ear cups that allow you to control everything from volume to phone calls. Definitely a product to watch out for.
One of the most eye catching and immensely pleasing addition to the gaming world was the Elite 800 X, sequel to the wireless Stealth 500X by Turtle Beach. These headphones flaunt a smart engineering with invisible microphones to communicate with other gamers. The DTS 7.1 channel virtual surround sound, customizable presets, a magnetic charging stand and swappable speaker plates is what sums up this immodest pair of seriously great gaming headphones.
House of Marley was another brand that did a bunch of new launches in the CES 2015. A seriously premium brand that has something for everyone, House of Marley launched their Legend ANCover ears that are premium headphones with 40mm drivers and feature active noise cancellation. The new Tribute over ear headphones come fully packed with DJ style features, optimized for Apple devices. These also come with large drivers that are 50mm and can only promise great sonic experience and nothing else.
Monster announced the iSport, which is the thinnest Bluetooth headphone in the world. It comes with a 50 feet wireless range, with better sound and better bass. Monster also launched a few other sports in-ear earphones in collaboration with Adidas such as the Response and Supernova which come with ACT or Apple Control Talk, making them exclusively for Apple users.
SleepPhonesAnnounced Soft Wireless Headband Headphones that feature induction charging. They have been created in such a way that they can be at work while you are sleeping even. They are thin and delicate, and wireless, which makes them very convenient. These headphones block out ambient noise and snores so that your slumber is as smooth as it gets. The headphones last for 10 to 12 hours after being charged, which gives you a long night’s sleep without any interruptions.
Bragi, a premium headphone brand has come up with something tremendously fascinating. Their new creation The Dash is a set of two separate earpods that connect to eachother wirelessly. Not stopping here, they also come with a storage of 4 GB which makes these products too good to be real, but fortunately for the world they are. Cancels ambient noise and even has sensors that monitor the heart rate, with technology that can act like a personal gym trainer with voice instructions, these earphones are a pioneer to the new age we are welcoming with the year 2015.
