JBL is one of the most well established audio brands in India. It is well known for its loud speakers and car audio systems. Generally JBL has mid-range products, T250SI is an exception. While the T250SI has an MRP of Rs. 2,499/- we can't remember a time in its short life when it was being sold at that price. Ever since it was launched, it has skirted the thousand rupee price point. Currently around Rs. 899, the budget T250SI is easily amongst the most popular headphones in the country.

The T250SI is an on-ear headphone that doesn't cover the ears entirely and only sits on the edges. Some people might only like this kind of an unobtrusive and lightweight design. However, this also means that there is no noise isolation of any kind.

The T250SI is made from a low grade plastic which is certainly disappointing from a brand like JBL. The inner frame of the headset is metal and the headband has a decent amount of padding. Thanks to the large orange logo on its earcups, the T20SI has prominent eye-catching design.

The JBL - 250SI are not foldable headphones so they don't travel particularly well. Coming to the sound, the T250SI has been tuned for bass which is great for Indian music listeners. Unfortunately they can't keep the sound tight and punchy for long. It lacks detailing and has a cloudy sound signature. The bass sometimes can boom and at moments can overwhelm the mids and highs. The soundstage is also practically non-existent so don't keep your expectations high. The sound distorts very quickly if you play them on very loud volumes.

A bass driven sound signature makes these JBL a popular choice in India. If you're a JBL fan or if you'd like a lightweight on-ear headphone with a budget of less than a thousand rupees then the T250SI will be a suitable option.
