Beyerdynamic (stylized "beyerdynamic") GmbH & Co. KG is aGerman audio equipment manufacturer, which produces microphones ,headphones ,wireless audio systems and conference systems. Along with Shure and RG Soundsystems, Beyerdynamic is one of the oldest audio companies in the world.

In the 1920s in Berlin Eugen Beyer believed that the cinema presented a new opportunity in communication media. As a culmination of that though process, he produced Beyerdynamic's first ever product; loudspeakers for film palaces, in 1924. At the end of the 1930s Beyer developed the first pair of dynamic headphones, the DT 48 which were in production till 2012!

In the 1940s, the second World War temporarily froze production, however, in 1948, Beyerdynamic sought new beginnings in Heilbronn. In the 50's the "Stielhörer" DT 49 headphone became a popular item of famous "Plattenbars” (disc-bars). And in 1962, the "transistophone", the company's first wireless microphone, went into production.

1966 was the year that propelled Beyerdynamic to the mainstage, with The Beatles using the E-1000 microphone during their German tour .  Elton John ,Abba , andStevie Wonder all sang into sound transformers produced by Beyerdynamic.

In 1980, the DT 880 dynamic headphones with electrostatic performance became the classic of the headphones premium line.

In 1985, Beyerdynamic acquired its then-North American distributor, Burns Audiotronics, which became its subsidiary in North America. Today, beyerdynamic, Inc. have their own office headquartered in Farmingdale, New York.

At the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, all media reporting sites were equipped with headsets from Beyerdynamic. In 1999, Germany's new parliament in Berlin, the Bundestag, was outfitted with beyerdynamic's digital microphones.

In 2006, the reporters from the Football World Cup  held in Germany  were supported by Beyerdynamic's DT 297 headset.

In 2009, Beyerdymanic launched the T1, the latest top model of the premium line. It is the first headphone of a new generation, the so-called Tesla headphones with newly designed acoustic transducers.

In 2010, the  T 50 p - the first mobile headphone with tesla technology made in germany - won the EISA Award and was crowned the "Mobile Headphone of the Year in Europe". The DT 1350 beyerdynamic became the first studio-headphone with tesla technology.

And in 2013, beyerdynamic opened its office in Bangalore, making themselves available en masse in the Indian market.
