In the upcoming third quarter of 2015, Swedish headphone company, JAYS has announced the launch of its two-years-in-the-making on-ear headphones, the u-JAYS.

Touted as the "embodiment of a seamless blend of authentic sound, lasting comfort and effortless aesthetics", the u-JAYS have custom developed 40 mm dynamic speaker with Neodymium magnets, vent holes covered with acoustic tuning filters that are evenly distributed 360° around the speaker and a design that has the earcups and ear cushions working together as an acoustic system.

The u-JAYS have lightweight, silicone skinned, spring steel headband, viscoelastic ear cushions that conform to the shape of your ears and a durable stainless steel core. The  construction is made in metal for additional strength, and its wires are fully integrated and encased within the frame in order to protect against the elements.

Available at the tentative price of $200, the u-JAYS for iOS, Windows or Android will be shipped worldwide during Q3 2015.
