Winner of the Red Dot Award for Design, Sennheiser's Urbanite Series has finally been launched in India! Comprising three headphone models; the Urbanite XL WirelessUrbanite XL and the Urbanite, these headphones are targeted at consumers who love their music with a strong bass and want to look good, but won´t compromise on quality. 

The Urbanites all provide uncompromised sound across the frequency range, with massive bass and crystal clear trebles. 

The wired Urbanite XL and Urbanite headphones are available in different versions that are compatible with either Android or iOS.

Urbanite XL Wireless

These quality over-ear wireless headphones have Bluetooth, NFC and the latest apt-X® codec to deliver clear, high-res sound and offer multi-connectivity i.e. pairing with up to eight different devices as well as simultaneous connections to two devices. It also includes an intuitive touch control panel on the right ear cup that makes it possible to adjust the volume, skip tracks and handle phone calls with the aid of voice prompts. 

The Urbanite XL Wireless delivers an impressive 25 hours of playback and comes in the colour black.

Urbanite XL and Urbanite 

The Urbanite XL are a pair of super comfortable over-ear headphones while the Urbanite is its on-ear version. These headphones have durable sliders and hinges with super soft ear pads for comfort during long listening sessions. These headphones are available in 5 different interestingly named colour variants such as Sand, Nation, Denim, Plum and Olive. 

Both these headphones come in different versions that are compatible for Apple devices (i) or for Windows & Android devices (g).

We had given Imran Munshi the Meze - 99 Classics for a week to test the same and write a review for it. It has good bass though it is not deep enough. It's relaxing but not very smooth, not harsh either. It's weird actually. The wooden back would help with natural instrument presentation, at least that was expected.
