Audeze creates a stir in the budget headphone category! – Launches LCD-1

Combining Audeze’s legendary audio quality with a new lightweight design, Audeze LCD-1 made its debut this week at AES NY, 2019.

Audeze being the leading brand famous for its planar magnetic technology and open-back headphones announced the LCD – 1 which combines the renowned planar magnetic technology with a new lightweight foldable design and compact size making it a travel-friendly package perfect for professionals and audiophiles.

 

Engineered for Critical Listening

The LCD – 1 come with a 90mm Planar Magnetic driver on each side, that delivers frequency extension starting from 10Hz – 50 kHz with flawless precision and clarity making it ideal for both audiophiles and professionals. The headphones weigh only 250 grams featuring a plush memory foam headband and ear pads. It is also engineered for fatigue-free listening sessions both at home as well as in the studios. It also comes with a specially designed cable that has reversible connectors making sure it delivers the correct left and right channel information.

Designed and Handcrafted in Southern California

Each LCD – 1 driver is precision-crafted by hand in Audeze's Southern California facility. Using their patented engineering techniques and state of the art laser-etching technology, they put great care into each step of the manufacturing process to ensure that the headphones meet the exact audio and production quality standards of the brand. The LCD – 1 is fully assembled in Orange County factory with parts made in the USA and other countries.
