Audeze, one of our favorite brands has always been in the news with its LCD Collection and the Sine Series. They've now come up with a new variant to its recently launched iSine - the world's first Planar Magnetic In-Ear Earphones, this time for gamers and VR Enthusiasts! The iSINE VR was announced and debuted in the CES 2017.

Audeze CEO Sankar Thiagasamudram quoted that"For gamers, the iSINE VR Headphones mean more realistic battlefield play, longer playing time without listener fatigue, and a more realistic VR experience overall, It puts users in the heart of the action."

The iSINE VR headphones deliver groundbreaking, life like immersion, and help minimize the disorientation and fatigue players can experience when partaking in immersive games.

The team at Audeze realized that the VR experience can be a little unsettling at first and the users may become disoriented and lose their balance even when seated. Thus after doing further research they came up with the idea of active noise cancellation. The iSINE VR headphones thus have a vented, semi-open design allowing a small amount of ambient sound to be heard. The vented design along with the near-zero distortion delivers unprecedented audio immersion.

The Audeze's iSINE VR comes with the company’s own planar magnetic technology with extremely good transient response, wider soundstage, lower distortion and accurate bass :flat to 10Hz. The iSINE VR headphones makes use of driver design in order to produce more coherent sound field putting more realistic effects.

"Audio is a critical component to deliver an immersive VR experience," said Dan O'Brien, VP Virtual Reality, HTC VIVE. "We built Vive to deliver the most immersive, room-scale VR experience on the market today. Companies like Audeze help us meet this vision and we're excited to see what iSINE offers to the VR experience."

Although the Audeze iSINE VR  was built and tested with the HTC vive, connector options for Oculus Rift CV1, HTC Vive, Sony PlaystationVR and the StarVR headsets are also available. It also features an astonishingly large 30mm driver and specially designed waveguides making iSINE the most accurate in-ear headphones in the world and compatible with all major VR headsets.

The iSINE VR is the cornerstone of new innovation in the industry, with leaders noting its esteem. "We work almost exclusively with Ambisonic and Dolby Atmos® mixes for audio delivery in VR. The iSINE VR is the headset we've been waiting for," said Lucas Wilson, Founder and Executive Producer at Supersphere VR. "They deliver beautiful sound and response, no distortion, and clear delineation for head-tracking and directionality."

The new iSINE Series that barely weighs 20 grams, contains all the Audeze's exclusive patented technology including power enhancing Fluxor Magnets that nearly double the magnetic driving force on the large, ultra-thin diaphragms with patented Uniforce voice-coil technology that delivers the most accurate in-ear headphones experience ever. Alongside a THD of less than 0.1% overall, even at high volumes. This being one of the biggest achievement for an in-ear headphone design. What else could someone ask for!

Audeze which is originally based in California is at the CES 2017 to showcasing the groundbreaking iSINE VR. While there are people who are lucky enough to get hand-on it, you may stay tuned to headphone zone for further updates and reviews.
