Effect Audio Launches their New IEM: King Arthur

High-end cable-maker, Effect Audio has launched the King Arthur. This IEM comes after the Arthur, an IEM created via a collaboration between the brand and the US-based Empire Ears.

The King Arthur comes with a 16 balanced armature driver configuration (7 for the high frequencies, 7 for the mid frequencies and 2 drivers for the low frequencies). It uses a 9-way crossover circuit that’s expected to offer a clear, detailed sound. This IEM has a 10Ω impedance which makes it perfect to use with just about any kind of device.

To add aesthetics to this IEM, Effect Audio uses an EA Patented Convertible Clutch Mechanism. This lets users exchange faceplates whenever they want. Currently, the King Arthur comes with the Vivid Acrylic faceplate fixed to the housings while other faceplate designs i.e. Elegant Rosewood, Classic Carbon Fibre, Textured Leather and Metallics come in the box. A KA Designer Y-split that features the design of multiple swords can be found on the cable.

Keeping with their heritage of designing high-end cables, the King Arthur comes with the Caliburn cable. This cable is made of pure silver as well as a gold-silver alloy and is plated with gold & silver. Each strand in the multi-bundled Litz septuple core is individually enamelled and comes with Effect Audio’s UltraFlexi Insulation.

Effect Audio claims that this combination is expected to deliver music with utmost realism while bringing out the subtlety of the music.

The Effect Audio King Arthur is expected to go on pre-order on Headphone Zone soon. It is expected to cost approx. Rs. 5,00,000.
