What is the difference between lossless audio and standard audio you ask? The answer is humongous. In order to make an audio file compact, the piece is compressed. To further elaborate, an algorithm eliminates bits and pieces from your music
that it believes can not be picked up by a bear-human ear. The over-all size of the music files is reduced and all you are left with is audio that lacks detail and finesse. In conclusion, lossless audio eliminates this entire messy reproduction and delivers it with minimum cuts of the nitsy-bitsy.
All being said, most audiophiles will unanimously agree that the difference between the two file qualities cannot be deciphered.
Your music travels through Music players, soundcards and speakers until it delivers the melody to your ears. It is believed that the difference can hardly be interpreted by the average music listen. Can you tell the difference? Do let us know in the comments section below.
