A must have for any muisc lover in these days

Coming from LG G7 to Oneplus 8T, i felt a dire need for a external DAC as sound quality with oneplus usb dougle is just unacceptable. I purchased ibasso dc03, recently released, without any second thoughts as i found no other budget friendly feature rich DAC out there. The DAC is excellent in handling wide range of headphones/earphones like KZ ZSX, Sennheiser HD598, ATH M40x.. turning up the volume is not fatiguing but enjoyable as all frequencies are elevated evenly. I'm thoroughly enjoying this product. Thanks to headphonezone for quick delivery and making available these hard to find products.

So glad to know that you love them:) We look forward to serving you again. Happy listening!

Great DAC for headphones

If you are planning to buy this, please remember this : It has problems working with Samsung Note 10 Plus mobile. Each time you connect this DAC, you need to restart the phone. Of course it's not the DAC's problem, bit Samsung's. It worked flawlessly with OnePlus 8. My 1More Quad driver sounds awesome, and I have clean, high definition, loud audio. The DAC gets heated up a bit, and also drains the battery slightly faster. Bit these are expected from a high res component.

So glad to know that you love them. We really appreciate your review, we hope it will help other potential customers to make an informed decision.

Dramatically improved my listening experience

I have been wanting to get a quality DAC to improve my listening experience when I heard my ATH M-50x on brother's LG G7. The difference was so huge compared to my MBP mid-2012 and OnePlus 7 that I couldn't believe how much I was missing and how less I was getting out of my phones.

I don't have much idea about DACs and stuffs except few names I heard on headfi and other audiophile forums like Fiio and some from past.
But I have been iPhone fan since I first used iPhone 3Gs. Those days there was competition between Cirrus Logic DAC (iPhone) and Wolfson (Galaxy S series). And since I always liked iPhone, iPod Classic's sound tuning/quality I quickly made my decision when I saw DC03 mentioning "Dual CS43131 DAC". Although it was ESS sabre chip (LG G7) that impressed me most but I like the tuning of iOS device which mostly use Cirrus Logic Chip (clean tight bass, sweet strong treble).

Now I have been using Audeo PFE 022, Sennheiser IE 80S, Shure SE215, Fiio FH1 and ATH M-50x. And I have been overwhelmed my IE 80S bass on my Mac and OP 7. I found it to be too much for my taste even at lowest dial setting. I used IE 80S with iPod Touch (Latest with A10 Chip) and once again it was Apple like sound quality. Here my IE 80S has controlled and very tight bass. And since the bass was too much for me on non-iOS device I didn't go for ESS chip DAC which is known for (good quality) high bass.

Now coming to sound. IE 80 S has been my primary and fav Earphones out of all those I have because of its unbelievably deep soundstage (X-axis), mind-blowing Imaging, amazing instrument separation and very Deep Bass. The bass was too much but it never bled into other frequencies and always delivered very clear & detailed sound that's why I put up with IE 80 S.

This iBasso DC03 once again gave new life to IE 80 S and pushed it to its full potential.First thing I noticed was the soundstage, I was already impressed by IE 80 S Soundstage on my Mac and OP7 but this DC03 took it to whole another. Now it sounds like Open back headphone. You need to hear IE 80S to believe it. Bass has become much deeper now (going towards sub bass region ) and also became cleaner. Instrument separation became much better, micro details became more apparent now and pops up better. I could already hear new sounds before but with iBasso I don't have to try to focus, it's just there. Treble became more musical and engaging too without any harshness. Also the imaging became better too which can be easily noticeable since soundstage expanded alot so it was obvious. It sounds much smoother than I expected which is a good thing for casual relaxed listening. I will be leaving link to the review on HiFiage which accurately describes my experience deeply in more details:

Worth the Money

Time to say goodbye to my phone's 3.5mm jack. They put so much clarity to your music. Installation was slightly tricky. Had to fiddle/reboot my phone a couple of times to get UAPP to recognize them. Windoz refuses to recognize it so laptop is no go for me. Best sound pairing was with Ibasso IT00 (rich bass). If you are treble fan, go for KZ Z10 pro. For anyone wishing to get into the super expensive world of audiophile, this is a very cheap option to get started.

So glad to know that you love them:) We look forward to serving you again. Happy listening!

Scratches my CirrusLogic itch!!!

A nifty little device with a powerful and open sound. I have Dx220 and Cayin N3 Pro. Still, I enjoyed the sound from DC03. Able to drive Sundaras adequately. Dual DAC in USB dongle dac is a first. Worthy buy. Recommended.

So glad to know that you love them:) We look forward to serving you again. Happy listening!
