Flat Sound Signature

A Flat sound signature offers an accurate presentation of sounds without adding colour to your music. Simply put, this sound signature presents audio without boosting any frequencies. As a result, it’s the most natural-sounding signature and provides the closest reproduction of how a track was recorded and produced. Due to their accurate sound reproduction, flat sound signature headphones are preferred by Music professionals, Sound Engineers and used in professional studios for mixing and mastering music tracks and are also loved by audiophiles for immersive listening sessions. You can listen to Classical, Rock, Jazz, Blues, Folk & possibly every genre in music.

Closed-Back Design

Headphones with a Closed-Back design are completely sealed around the ear cup, allowing the sound to travel directly into your ears. This means that closed-back headphones block out outside noise, giving much better isolation, and minimising sound leakage to those around you.

Needs Amplification

Headphones and IEMs require a certain level of power to sound their best and work at their full potential. When your headphones or IEMs are underpowered, they can sound thin or muffled.

Amplifiers are required to provide adequate power to your headphone or IEMs to perform at their best. Simply put, amplifiers allow a weak audio signal to be boosted to a powerful one.

To put it into perspective, devices such as your phones and laptops come with an amplifier, but they offer very limited output power. This output may not be sufficient to power headphones and IEMs to shine at their best. This is where a dedicated amplifier is required to deliver adequate power to hear your music in all its glory.

Replaceable Cables

A pair of headphones with a replaceable cable has many benefits, and one of them is if the connecting cable has a problem, it doesn’t mean that you have to buy a new one. If the connecting cable gets pulled or damaged, you can replace it and keep using your good-old headphones or IEMs. This way, your headphones will be protected and will last longer. With the advancements in cable manufacturing, you now get a variety of replacement cables with various termination options, lengths and quality.

Beyerdynamic's DT 1770 PRO closed-back headphones offer an outstanding listening experience. They're built to last and perfectly suited for mixing live sound or listening critically. When you need headphones that sound true to the mix, are comfortable to wear for hours, and are built to last, you can count on Beyerdynamic DT 1770 Pro headphones.

Having owned various Headphones,Id say finally I've a winner.A a closed Headphone?sure it is,But I jacked it to my neve 8816 summing box headphone out - (Which is just ok),And was immediately impressed by its defined and extended low end and velvety highs. The mids are pronounced and revealing. And since these are closed cans, you might not experience the width or sonic spaciousness of a performance. But for my application, which is monitoring for artists that come to my studio,These cans are just perfect.
After having owned the Focal stellia,"An expensive mistake",I was quite skeptical about getting another HP, just by listening to online reviews.
Is it for all,Well I wouldn't say. These headphones weren't designed for commercial use.@ 250 ohms, you still need to jack these babies to a good amp.But hey who am I to say.

Just got blown away!!!

Best professional headphones. I do a bit a recording stuff and mostly mixing. These headphones are a pro upgrade for me. Coming from ath m50x and dt 990 pros,
1. The sound stage: it’s insanely good. You could hear each and everything very clearly and carefully.
2. Sound: the sound signature on these headphones is very neutral. The bass… the bass is bit on the higher end , its really thumpy , and it doesn’t bleeds to the mids.
It has a similar feel of the 700 with a blown away sound stage and quality.
Build quality: it’s all metal build. Very sturdy, bulky feel , but can work upto hours with these.
Pros:
1.build quality
2. Sound adaptiveness
3. Best performance yet
4. Easy replacement parts available
5. Neutral

Cons: are bit on a pricey side.

Hey Aditya, thank you so much for your detailed and genuine feedback, we're glad that you have such positive thoughts about the product and we'll share your thoughts with the brand as well.
