The story of Beyerdynamic begins in 1924 in Berlin when an electrical engineer named Eugen Beyer decided to start his own company to develop speakers for cinemas. It is his 'Elektrotechnische Fabrik Eugen Beyer' that proved to be instrumental in the formation of the world's leading manufacturer of headphones, earphones, microphones and wireless systems and eventually became Beyerdynamic as we know it. Today Beyerdynamic headphones and microphones have become a go-to choice for studio professionals, with the DT Series of headphones achieving legendary status for monitoring, mixing and mastering.

Beyerdynamic DT Series of headphones are highly regarded for their accurate sound, sturdy build quality and are some of the most carefully engineered headphones. The lineup includes Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro, DT 880 Pro, DT 990 Pro, DT 1770 Pro, DT 1990 Pro, DT 240 Pro, DT 990 Edition and DT 880 Edition. Beyerdynamic has recently upgraded the DT series lineup with two new headphones, the DT 700 Pro X and DT 900 Pro X. These new headphones are an upgrade from the DT 770 (80 ohms or 250 ohms) and the DT 990 Pro headphones and feature the same accurate sound but with a modern approach.
