Being my first IEM I was totally thrown away by the sound quality. Good built and fit (foam tips) good investment for metalheads. DM6 pairs really well with Sony WM1A.
I would like to thank headphone zone team in helping me choose the DM6. Worth the investment
BGVP DM6 is one word awesome they sound so clear. The clarity is awesome.
I grew up listening to many wonderfully sounding audio systems like the Pioneer XR-P340 Audio CD HiFi receiver back in 1990s, Kenwood 5.1 surround sound system and car stereos in 2000s, Panasonic DiscMan and some sweet sounding bass monster from Sony such as XB-90 EX (XB-950B1 too but was never a big fan of it, so sold it) and a Klipsch Image s4. Now have an Audio Technica ATH M50xBT in the arsenal as well. Coming to the BGVP DM6, It's been 2 months of using the DM6s and I had mixed impressions at the start because I tried the DM6 right after I returned the RHA T20s. The RHAs had a nice and weighty bass to them which the DM6 does not. It took me a while to realize the different kind of an animal that the DM6 is. They sound phenomenal when it comes to revealing the details and screams with energy when pushed hard, deafeningly loud at full volumes on my Exynos powered Galaxy Note 9. Even though the DM6 does not ooze a lot of bass in every song, it can be surprising at times when it punches you with some quality bass in the most unexpected times. Overall, DM6 is a keeper for its unique traits of being extremely clear and revealing in its sound presentation. Just make sure you use the right set of ear tips which gives the best fit and sound. Happy listening.
