The team at Astell&Kern packed the AK ZERO1 with four drivers in a unique configuration to achieve the highest possible audio quality. Astell&Kern AK ZERO1 features a hybrid setup with 1 micro rectangular planar dynamic driver, 2 balanced armature drivers and 1 dynamic driver. This complex driver system sits in a well-crafted resin enclosure where each driver is carefully placed in the optimal 3D position, enclosed in specifically designed acoustic chambers manufactured with precise 3D printing technology. By implementing this, the team eliminated unnecessary movement and resonance of the drivers to ensure stable performance. The housing designed with Astell&Kern's unique advanced aluminium-refining technology keeps resonance to a minimum and creates the highest-quality sound.
NATURAL SOUND SIGNATURE WITH DEDICATED DRIVERS FOR FREQUENCY MANAGEMENT
Astell&Kern AK ZERO1 features a hybrid setup with a micro rectangular planar dynamic driver which is a specially developed driver with highly advanced technology that allows a planar driver to be applied to IEMs. To go along with this driver, the team adopted a sturdy and lightweight planar membrane to minimise frequency loss and applied a vibration panel that features a high-polymer film with thin metal to create crystal clear high frequencies.
