The Audeze LCD-3 is a thoroughly engineered and meticulously hand-built headphone. Its best-in-class accuracy makes it an irreplaceable tool for those requiring the most transparent audio reproduction available. Step into a new world of music, full of rich detail, low-end clarity and overall accuracy.
The LCD-3 uses Fazors, special acoustical elements positioned on either side of the magnetic structure. They enhance transparency by affecting the sound waves generated by large planar diaphragms. A few of the benefits include extended frequency response, improved high-frequency extension and lowered distortion, with better imaging.
Rather than use standard headphone drivers that operate like miniature woofers or tweeters, the LCD-3 uses a large, 6.17-square-inch thin-film planar magnetic driver that's embedded with Audeze's proprietary Lotus diaphragm that's thinner than a human hair for fast response times. This gives a smooth, resonance-free frequency response, excellent internal damping, edge damping, very low distortion and extremely fast transient response.
Not everyone can listen to their headphones in an acoustically treated room. With the Audeze Reveal plugin, you can add custom filter presets to all Audeze flagships. Now, mix and master in virtually any location, be it the studio, your home or even on top of an active volcano.
Made in the USA, the Audeze LCD-3 are handcrafted using high-quality luxurious materials. It features Audeze's tonal balance and powerful bass that beautifully articulates the power and nuance of your favourite music. The gorgeous wooden rings are designed for the audiophile with a discerning ear & style. The real lambskin leather or Microsuede earpads and headband use acoustical foam for the best fit and sound.

Hi everyone thanks headphone zone for delivering the product in time . Audeze lcd3 is a very good headphone in the price range it's bass and midrange are the strong points treble is rolled off a bit and soundstage is limited only to head and not expansile . Lcd3 is very heavy and needs good amplification to drive it to full potential. I have hifiman he1000 and focal utopia compared to them it's down in its overall presentation and clarity. Hifiman gives you a pleasureable listening into sound it's very good through out the spectrum just a tad lower in midrange but very negligible. Focal utopia is in next level beating both of them in clarity and speed for a dynamic driver they compete very well against planars.Recommend if you are new to headphone world if it suits your budget. If u can afford an hifiman he1000 then it's worth spending on hifiman because as it is superior to lcd3 in overall presentation and brings a smile on your face.
Received these from headphone zone some days back but for personal reasons could not open them.
Well i did so today with a some awe,let me list the equipment used.
Sony i7 laptop running Jriver Media Center 21
Connected to an IFI IDSD Micro Amp Cum Dac which was used as a preamplifier.
Which in turn was connected to my favourite amp the Violectric HPA V200
Interconnects were RCA to RCA Cable | Made from Mogami 2549 Neglex Cable & Neutrik Gold ProFi Connectors.
Down to the Music was using the unbalanced cable.
1)Album "Love Over Gold" Dire Straits.Track -Telegraph Road.
Format DSD 2.8 Mhz
Simply Superb the lows and highs and the seperation was great.Clarity was out of this world.Bass was awesome.
Then went on to The Wall "Live In Berlin"Roger Waters" in DSD 2.8 Mhz these phones take this album to another level.
If someone was to ask me if these were worth the Rs 135K would reply worth every penny.
Thanks to all you folks at Headphone zone for making this happen.
If you are in music production, then this headphones must have. Comparable quality of sound in form of aquatically treated room and speakers will cost around usd 30000 (with ATC monitors). To understand what kind of headphone it is you may need also high resolution amp and high quality recording, I would recommend Queens Of The Stone Age - Songs For The Deaf - 2002. Best quality recording for rock ever made
