Campfire Audio - Solaris (2020)

I was so disappointed with my out of the box experience that I requested a return. Then I thought, so many positive reviews and excellent credentials can’t be wrong. Gave it a 12-13hr burn in( much much less than recommended) and then re-experienced. It’s the best iem I have listened till date. I have owned jh audio Rosie, audeze sine10, listened to many biggies like um audio, Nobel audio etc. The sound stage is very good and bass is controlled and kicks in when called for. Mid is sweet and musical and highs are clear. But when it comes to imagining Solaris excel to another universe. It brings the vocal to middle and pushes each instruments into separate 3D space as if a stage show is going on. So good is that musical experience that you often confuse that a Plano magnetic headphone is in use. Best suited with jazz and Bollywood new age and with all high quality records . But menacing with old inferior digital songs. I hope more I listen exciting will it become ....

Well, I'm not a pro to review the iem, but as a novice all I want to say is that the solaris has great soundstage with a lot of details. The treble is sharp but pleasant, never harsh. All I feel is that its bass is not attacking or dominating....a bit laid back. It might improve if i pair it with good dap. Overall its a wonderful iem and im happy with the purchase...no regrets.

First - headphone zone team - you guys are the best tuned institution for one delving deep to find meaningful music. I have been pestering you folks with my questions for quite some time and you have been answering all of them. I have been researching for over 3 months now to find the right one for me. I zeroed in on the campfire audio solaris, but you did not have stock then. The moment it came back, my head phone guru - Salim Lakdawala informed me. Then after some more last minute checks, I ordered and have it in my hands.
Now - no technical stuff from me there are tons of them out there, because I read and saw all of them. I have a samsung note 10 plus which needs the C type connector, so I bought from you the ddHiFi - TC35B Type-C to 3.5mm.
Now after a few songs, I just am listening to Amazon music and the song yeh kahaan aagaye hum.... and am thinking kahan hai hum.... I never thought this lovely song could also sound so much better. That is Solaris for you... it is like driving in scenic mountain roads, in a high powered car - tons of power to spare so we focus only on the euphoria and ecstasy of the nippy air, sunlight filtered by foliage tickling the tingling skin..
Well I am happy and thus becoming poetic.

After going through practically 4-5 flagship earphones available with HeadphoneZone.com I settled to these. They sound phenomenal.

This is an IEM that provides the best listening pleasure. It is a detail monster. Everything is so effortlessly presented and articulated that you will fall in love with the music. I am re-hearing and enjoying old tracks just for the listening pleasure. The treble energy is very well contained so that they are neither harsh nor fatiguing. But they are unforgiving on poorly mastered tracks or a bad source.
