Max Input Power

What is Maximum Input Power?

Max input power is the maximum power a headphone can support from its power source at a particular instant and use it to produce desirable sound quality. It is also the maximum power a driver can take before it might burst.

Matching Input power with power supply

Measured in mW, its not a very important spec for all users, except for those interested in buying Pro DJ and other High end headphones which might be used with Amps and DACs. Larger values don't mean they're necessarily better, the main idea is to match the Input power to the power that can be supplied by the source.
