Cosy Velours Pads for Comfort
The DT 235s aren't tight at all and will do a good job of staying on your head. The ear pads are a soft velvet-like material, not leather or rubber, and they will cover your ear comfortably. Your ears might get slightly warm when you wear them. That said, they don't get sweaty like the plastic ones, and they are likely to last longer. The overall build quality is commendable. The cord is proper cord and not like a flimsy wire. If this is your first pair of Beyerdynamic headphones, get ready to become a lifelong fan.
Excellent Sound Quality
The highs are clear and crisp, the mids are solid, and a good amount of bass is delivered. They are well balanced overall without excelling in one area. So if you're looking for something heavy or light on bass, these aren't for you. Since these headphones have a sweet and clean sound, you will find it very suitable for classical music. The extended frequency range of 18-22 allows for a sound that is wide and nicely rounded.
Private Acoustic Environment
The large closed-back design allows for a booming well rounded sound experience. What is particularly notable is how little the sound bleeds; there is virtually no sound leakage even if you crank up the volume pretty high. The sound isolation is also great. When we turned the volume all the way up we literally couldn't hear any external sounds. Its private listening like you have never experienced before
What's in the box:
Nice balanced sound. You can connect to your phone and listen to music but I personally like it when it gets connected to a higher power source like PC. The cable is really long and not detachable which can be annoying sometimes. But at this price bracket you can't ask for everything.
Beyerdynamic - DT 235
Bought these from Headphone Zone after speaking to their Support team. My requirement was Crystal Clear Crisp Sound for my mobile phone. Have to say these Beyerdynamic DT 235 have checked all the boxes right. Although these are my first over the Ear Headphones, I must say the sound Quality is not only CRISP but also Clear with a good deal of Noise cancellation. People who want Bass more may have to look elsewhere. While bass is sufficient for a regular Audiophile like me,some with higher preference for thumping sounds might find these headphones not to their liking. An area where these excel greatly is clarity and definition. One can hear the sounds of instruments which may have been missed on speakers. Looks are a Subjective. though build seems to be Sturdy. To summarise these are by far the best sounding, quality Headphones under 3000INR with comparisons made with Sennheiser, Skullcandy and Audio technica in same price bracket.
