MAKE THE BEST OF DUAL BALANCED OUTPUTS — 2.5MM & 4.4MM

The coolest part of the TC44B is that it gives you both balanced outputs, the 2.5mm as well as the 4.4mm for easy plug and play convenience. If you are using this audio adapter with balanced active speakers, you can use it with the 4.4mm output as they are grounded connected.

EQUIPPED WITH DUAL DAC AND OPTIMISED PRECISELY FOR HIGH-QUALITY SOUND

Housing dual DACs, the TC44B is a potent adapter that offers 120mW of power at 32 Ohms allowing it to drive even most of the high impedance headphones. The output power range of the TC44B is optimised to serve enhanced sound quality, particularly when paired with smartphones. While there is no need to install a separate driver for the OS system, the Windows OS will require driver installation. Here is the link to the driver https.//www.ddhifi.com/filedownload/274044. When you are playing music using your computer, kindly ensure that you select 'ddHiFi TC44B' as your audio output device. If you are using ASIO output on Windows, select the device named 'BRAVO-HD'.

THIN YET POWERFUL CABLES WITH SILVER-PLATED WIRES AND RESILIENT TPU COATING

With a design that looks like a triangle cheese covered with matcha skin, the TC44B comes with headphone outputs on one side and an input cable on the other. The cables might look thin but their internal conductor is made of 30 silver-plated OCC wires while the external conductor consists of 60 silver-plated OCC wires. There is Teflon1 on the inside and Teflon2 on the middle along with a TPU coating that resists wearing, sock and impact.

Good sound but build quality is subpar

I purchased this as I am not a big fan of ESS Sabre based DAC dongles and this ddHiFi sounds great when paired with my Meze Rai Solo.
It has a rich, pleasing sound that is not harsh in the treble region. It sounds better than Shanling UP4, Earmen Eagle and the Apple lighning dongle though not by a huge margin.
However the lightning version of this doesn't come with a lightning to USB A adapter which limits its usage only to iPhones, the product description is not clear about this and was disappointing to find the same.
There is no strain relief on the cables and the lightning port is a little weak and I can spot some bends in my two days of use (lightning inherently is not as strong as type C so its not the product's fault), so I am a bit concerned about using this in daily commutes with my phone in my pocket.
I recommend this only if you want a balanced dongle having a lightning cable attached to it.
