Returned headphones are fully functional products that have left the warehouse and therefore can no longer be sold as new as their packaging has been opened. The product may have been used once or twice by the customer who returned it.

Transit Damages

Sometimes we receive headphones in damaged packaging due to shipping accidents. These are brand new headphones with cosmetic flaws on the packaging.

FIIO PRESENTS THE ALL-NEW JD3 IN-EARS WITH DUAL CAVITY DYNAMIC DRIVER

The FiiO JD3 are the latest addition to the line-up of high performing in-ears from the brand. FiiO JD3 is embedded with a single 9.2mm dynamic driver with high sensitivity (107dB) and low impedance (16 ohms) allowing you to drive them to proper fidelity and volume from a phone or digital audio player. Made from selected materials, the composite diaphragm of the new 9.2mm wide dynamic driver is driven by a powerful neodymium magnet with a CCAW voice coil. Combined with a reflection-absorbing system made of foam ring encapsulated in a specially designed outer cavity frame, and a dual-cavity construction, the JD3 advertises “deep bass, lush mids, and vibrant treble”. Despite not being a multi-driver IEM, the JD3 single dynamic drivers are tuned to reproduce more frequencies than regular earphones.

METICULOUSLY TUNED ACOUSTICS WITH SOUND REFLECTION ABSORBING DESIGN

A scientific approach is employed to create the JD3's internal acoustic design to ensure optimum driver performance. When the diaphragm of the dynamic driver vibrates to play audio, unwanted reflections and sound waves occur. In the small inner cavity where the driver is placed, standing waves are prone to occur, resulting in undesirable effects while adding distortion. Therefore, sound-absorbing foam is strategically placed near the JD3's dynamic driver to absorb any sound waves (including reducing standing waves) and guide the rest of the sound waves in the desired direction. The result is improved sound that not only tonally sounds more natural, but is also actually more detailed with higher resolution.

HI-RES AUDIO CERTIFIED IN-EARS WITH AN SEMI-OPEN ACOUSTIC DESIGN

The FiiO JD3 has been certified by JAS (Japan Audio Society) and CEA (Consumer Electronics Association) to be Hi-Res Audio capable in recognition of its ability to bring you accurate, high-fidelity audio as the artist intended. This certification is the result of tuning and embedding the latest technology. From the driver, neodymium magnets and the CCAW voice coils, each component works in harmony to present a highly detailed sound. FiiO JD3 adopts a semi-open acoustic design called the Balanced Pressure Relief System. This patented balanced pressure relief system has numerous benefits. For sound quality, balancing air pressure inside and outside of the JD3 reduces distortion and allows for cleaner bass due to letting the driver move as necessary. For comfort, the balanced pressure relief system eliminates pressure on your eardrum so you can listen longer without discomfort.

EQUIPPED WITH A HIGH DEFINITION MICROPHONE WITH IN-LINE CONTROLS

The FiiO JD3 is an all-rounder in many aspects and is a perfect companion for communication. FiiO JD3 comes embedded with HD microphones that allow you to communicate clearly without any audio degradation. The embedded microphone is placed 13cm down the cables, so it is placed at the perfect level for the microphone to pick up the voice nice and clear. This microphone offers considerable noise suppression and comes with in-line controls to receive and drop calls. The in-line remote allows you to quickly play/pause and adjust the volume of your music to your liking without having to reach for the source device. The in-line control and the microphone are wrapped in an aluminium shell to add to the overall aesthetic of the JD3.

DURABLY BUILT WITH STAINLESS STEEL SHELLS AND ALUMINIUM ALLOY PLUGS

FiiO is known in the audio industry to put out some high quality and durably built IEMs, and the JD3 is no different. For JD3, the build quality has been prioritised, and the result is a striking solid unibody stainless steel construction for its shells. Stainless steel is the material of choice for the JD3 and allows the intricate craftsmanship of the clever unibody design, to truly shine and positively radiate with energy. For JD3's every detail, superior quality materials are used as a base to improve the overall product even further, including the audio plug, which is made of aluminium alloy materials to ensure more reliability. The use of these materials extends the life of the JD3 and gives it a premium feel.

SHOWCASING A STRAIGHT INSERTION DESIGN AND BUNDLED WITH ACCESSORIES

FiiO JD3 sports a straight insertion design, which provides a comfortable and snug fit. This design allows you to freely and comfortably start your musical journey, your ears free from a cable wrapped around them. The left "blue" and right "red" design easily allows you to identify each ear unit. In addition, a tactile dot is also present on the left ear unit as another way to let you know which ear unit is left and right. The blue and red arrow transformer styling makes the FiiO JD3 earphones stand out from other IEMs. The JD3 have a bullet casing shell design made of a single piece of stainless steel, a straight nozzle neck and a metal mesh tip guard. The back end of the earphones has blue and red arrow cutouts reminiscent of a Transformers' insignia. The JD3 also comes with various sizes of bowl-shaped silicone ear tips.
