FiiO is well known in the audio industry for its class-leading product range and innovations. With the FiiO LS-2.5A and LS-2.5AS, the company introduces a well-built cable fused with carefully executed workmanship. The LS-2.5A and LS-2.5AS are made of high purity monocrystalline copper wires with 4 strands, for a total of 120 cores. This improves audio transmission performance and delivers clean audio.
FEATURING AN LITZ TYPE BRAIDED DESIGN
The FiiO LS-2.5A and LS-2.5AS utilise Litz style design, in which wires are individually insulated to reduce the skin and proximity effects. This design ensures better audio transmission performance while reduced resistance resulting from the “Proximity” effect. The wires are braided in the scientific Litz type 2 method, providing distinctive sound quality and further elevating the cable's performance.
MADE WITH HIGH-QUALITY MATERIALS
The FiiO LS-2.5A and LS-2.5AS cables are made with high-quality materials and a lot of attention. Each small strand of wire in the cable consists of 30 Litz wires, 4 strands in a total of 120 wires. Even the outer cable sheath is made of environmentally friendly translucent PU material to show up its soft texture. The cable is wrapped in a Heat Shrink Tube Wrapping to elevate the wearing experience, allowing you to wear them for long listening sessions. These cables also feature a contrast of materials with the cable splitter that is made of metal.
GOLD PLATED 2.5MM PLUG AND 0.78MM 2PIN CONNECTOR
The FiiO LS-2.5A and LS-2.5AS feature a 2.5mm balanced plug to connect to your audio devices and a 0.78mm 2Pin connector that connects to your IEM’s. Both the plugs of the earphone and the source end are gold plated which improves performance. There are engravings on the connector ends to indicate Left (Blue) and Right (Red) for easy connectivity.

I ordered this cable with the intention of providing a balanced connection for my Blessings 2. Since my source is EarStudio ES100, with hitherto unutilized balanced port and with a shirt clip, I went for this small (45cm) 2 Pin balanced cable.
It turns out this cable has more utility then just what I wanted from it.
Now I have a portable, good sounding, setup which is compact and easy to move around with. I am now preferring it over my TWS for music as this setup sounds incredible.
Becides, it also works with other 2 pin IEMs (which are slightly different in design) like Blon BL03 and KZ ZS 10 Pro.
Build wise - no complaints. Every design choice is "FIIO-like", premium and thoughtful. The connector is L Shaped, and feels durable. Cable feels good in hand, is light and disappears when donned.
Not sure if a short cable warrants so many words as review, but did so since Raghav insisted :-)
As per title it is very good indeed but the major drawback for which 3stars is rated is that it is very short. I use it with my BTR5 so it keeps hanging. Looking for a clip.
