The Grado SR125e's traditional open-back on-ear design features a state-of-the-art driver and cable design utilizing ultra-high purity, long crystal copper voice coil wire. The 8 conductor cable design leads to outstanding control and stability of the highs and lows, with both supporting Grado's world renowned midrange.

The SR125e's diaphragms have been put through a special de-stressing process in order to enhance inner detail. The way the SR125e's new driver, cable and plastic housing move air and react to sound vibrations are such that they are virtually unaffected by transient distortions.

Handmade in the USA, these Grados are a testament to quality workmanship. The SR125e is perfect for a wide range of audio setups, from portable to fully fledged studio.

    Legacy that Lasts Generations

Grado Labs is a Brooklyn based company that makes headphones and cartridges by hand. Family-runs this since 1953, Grado has seen three generations: Joseph, John, and Jonathan Grado. Over the past 61 years, Grado has become famous for their remarkable headphone and phono-cartridge designs.

    About The Prestige Series

The new 'e' Prestige Series is the third generation of Grado's moderately priced collection of headphones. You could pay three times as much for a pair of headphone that wouldn't be able to match the sonic purity emanating from their family-owned shop, where they still build headphones by hand in Brooklyn, USA.

    Signature Grado Sound for Purists

If you crave detail, this pair of Grado is for you. While the overall sound is reminiscent of the highly praised mid-forward sonic signature, the SR125e produces a sound that is pure Grado i.e. with warm harmonics, rich full-bodied vocals, excellent dynamics and an ultra-smooth top end.
