Usually, the product's packaging may have gotten damaged in transit. Customers use a product once or twice and then return it with opened up packaging.

Good Value but….

The iFi Zen Air Blue is a competent well priced bluetooth streaming device which enables use of streaming media with older amps. Audio quality was good but when i did a A/B test with another amp which had a built in DAC there wasn't any noticeable difference in sound quality. So best use it for older devices rather than looking for improvements in sound quality. An irritant is the lack of a power block - only a cable is provided. I guess this is to keep the cost low.
