|Our Verdict|| |
The most complete Wireless headphone in the segment. Superb Aluminium build, in a stylish and comfortable headphone. Punchy bass, and crisp sound. Our top pick in this segment.
Sennheiser - HD 4.40BT is an aptX-enabled Bluetooth headphone with a well-rounded bass and depth up to the subwoofer area paired with a clear high frequency response.
Skullcandy Hesh 3 Wireless is an Over-Ear Bluetooth headphone offering a cleaner bass and better mid-range clarity.
Major II Bluetooth is an On-Ear Bluetooth headphone with bass-oriented sound signature & a long battery life.
Really a good headphone for that price point. The base is really good. I just love to hear the music with it. Can't feel to put it down. Just was carrying the piece on my ears all the time. The design is really classy feature of it. Minimal design which I never saw in any other headphones. All headphones brands are now behind the extra design addition to what they already have, when jays just removed all the unwanted designs which not needed for a headphone other that a good speaker.
Just waiting to check how durable is the soft materials equipped with it.
Just thought if it could be a foldable one and the soft materials like marshal.
Other wise it's the best headphone design until now in the market which defitenly catches eyes within a moment.
Amazing build quality and sound..
I am writing this review after enjoying the headphones for more than 10 days. I am a bass head who prefers listening to old school music of any genre, especially Hip Hop. So lets start with the packaging - The packaging was sturdy. With lot of excitement I opened the box which looked mehh. It had nothing awe inspiring like how we expect when unboxing a premium or semi premium product. It had nothing except for a charging and 3.5 mm cable. For the price I was expecting a case or atleast a bag to keep the pricy headphones safe while travelling. No Bag, no case was a big turn off. Plus the headphones had a white powdery material on it. I cleaned that in disappointment.
The cable - The cable provided is too thin unlike V-Modas. It doesn't have buttons on the cable which makes it hard to reach to the button on the cans when in call or to change music. I know the purpose is to make them feel light but a strong cable could have convinced me and would shoo away my fear.
Wireless / Wired Use - I bought these for listening music through wire/cable. Bcoz I already have wireless earphones (LG Tone Infinim HBS-920) and wanted to give justice to my phone LG V30+(dream phone for audiophiles). They sound great when with wire. Very loud, so loud that I can hear the music in other room. The bass is above average and punchy. Vocals are crystal clear and so the instrumentals.They sounds amazing in any genre. Best sound for Hip Hop Music. I love the sound it delivers after the BURNING. When wireless the sound is average in loudness.
Battery - Battery performance is great. 25 hours of battery life is more than enough but then the sound is not loud through wireless so I don't use it much.
Looks - They look premium. But not really super comfortable. They lack foam so it hurts after few minutes. Need separate buttons to change music. When off ears they don't turn inside so the brand stays unnoticed.
Final verdict - Great sound and looks but can be skipped for the price.
I was quite keen on getting a pair of headphones that look and feel good (I don't like plastic finish), so I decided to go for the Jays-a-Seven Wireless. My first impression (its only been a few weeks since it got delivered) is amazing quality of headphones and sound. I am not a music maniac, I casually listen to music on my travels. I found these headphones perfect for my purpose, they provide great sound even in a relatively noisy areas (airports etc) at the same time I don't have to pay a bomb for a great pair. My only issue is these don't come with a case to carry them, neither is a good one available on amazon.
Everything is great about this headphone as it's advertised. Great built quality, superb sound with balanced curve (as stated), and importantly, I actually liked the less flashy packaging which probably saved few bucks for other important improvements, but the ear padding is annoyingly thin. Just a swappable design would have done wonders for future customisability.
It's super comfortable and the build quality is great for this price. The sound is quite good especially for the stuff I listen to - jazz, funk, folk etc. Not biased towards extra bass. The battery is the best especially the standby time compared to other wireless headphones. The only con for now, is the black paint is already giving way and you can see the metal underneath. It's been less than a month of use.
