In case you receive the LYPERTEK - PurePlay Z7 (Unboxed) with a manufacturing defect, please raise a return request within 7 days of delivery.

However, if you receive an incorrect / damaged / different product or one with missing accessories, please raise a return request within 24 hours of delivery. In case you receive a product with a missing, incorrect, or faulty accessory, you will be given a replacement accessory instead of the entire product.

Please make sure that the product is in the original packaging with all the accessories it came with. We'll also need an unboxing video and images of the parcel to investigate about the discrepancy. You may be asked to share images of the product and the packaging received for us to determine the damage or defect prior to approving the return request. The free replacement will be shipped only once the original order is returned.

A replacement will be issued only if:

Update: Left ear bud came off in half because of poor gluing after 7 months of usage.

Update 2: Edit - 23-Feb-22
Very kind of HPZ to give me the warranty replacement after understanding my plight.
I'm still knocking down 2 stars for the headphones; I'm now paranoid the glue holding the two halves may come off again.
This is still a very good headphone pair in its right, if it lasts.
But full 5 stars for HPZ's fuss free pickup and drop service for the warranty claims.

Update: Edit - 14-Feb-22
The left ear bud got progressively quieter for the past few days, because of it's strong magnetic coupling with the case, the top half came off when I tried to remove the left earbud from the case.
This is due to poor gluing of the 2 halves of the ear-buds.
Per headphonezone \ manufacturer, this doesn't amount for a warranty claim but they've offered for a pickup & repair which is nice of hpz.
I doubt re-gluing it back is going to make it sound the same as it came out of the box; so that's INR 16k down the drain for me in just under 7 months.

I'm done with Lypertek, Shanling and their uber expensive Chinese ilk.
For true wireless earbuds I'll just stick to cheaper alternatives from amazon.

It's just too darn bass heavy out of the box; can be tuned to near reference sound using the pureplay software although bass heads might like these out of the box anyway.
After tuning, they have a wide, almost holographic soundstage and instrument separation.
Also thanks to the dynamic driver, the bass extension is superb, it's a phenomenal experience watching Netflix on these. Watched Pacific Rim and Terminator 2 on day 1 and it was a delight.

Some Other things:
Bonkers battery life and wireless range, supplied mic is not very good, not the most comfortable fit, misses on multi device support(why?!), splash proof, hear through mode is almost useless (please fix it with a firmware update), thankfully no touch controls, wireless Qi charging supported, google assistant blah aptx adaptive yadaa.

The following pureplay eq settings work well for me with Dolby Atmos for headphones ON (for that subtle out of head sound without killing fidelity)
Eq for music (Hz dB 80 -4, 250 0, 500 +2, 1K 0, 3k -2, 7k 0, 10k +7)
Eq for movies (Hz dB 80 -2, 250 0, 500 +3, 1K 0, 3k -3, 7k 0, 10k +5)

Final thoughts:
I also own the Senn HD800, HD 598, AKG K12 pro, HiFiMan Sundara, Sony 1000 XM3, A&K Billie Jean and then some, but I've been using the Shanling mtw100 (BA) headphones for the past year as my daily driver tws and consider them to be a benchmark for true wireless earbuds for their sound, fit, design and features.
Unfortunately the right earpiece for shanling started going bad and the battery started degrading fast, so I ordered Z7 as replacements; a 'leap of faith' of sorts based on gleaming reviews that the Z3 has already garnered, and the Z7 didn't disappoint. Frankly a few years back they'd be costing x4 maybe, but all hail the chi-fi revolution and headphonezone for making these available in India!
Now only if they last a couple years I'd say money well spent.

A Worthy Upgrade

After having used(and loved) the Tevis for over an year, I wanted to upgrade. There were plenty of options with multitude of features in this price range but none of them were standout in terms of sound quality.

As I was already impressed with the Tevis, decided to pull the trigger on this one. These are a clear upgrade. One can feel the 3 drivers put to use as there is clear instrument separation and perceivable depth added to the sound. The sound is sufficiently detailed and the bass & treble are balanced very evenly providing a sound quality at par with those of the decent multi-driver IEMs.

Only con for me is that I like a super bright treble which they don't offer out of the box. But the 7 band EQ in the app can be tuned to one's liking.

Overall, if sound quality is your top priority, these fit the bill perfectly.

The sound is awesome but the design is screwed up for these beautiful babies. They remain connected to my iPhone/iPad even when they are back in the case and drain out without usage.
