In case you receive the RAPTGO - Hook-X with a manufacturing defect, please raise a return request within 7 days of delivery.

However, if you receive an incorrect / damaged / different product or one with missing accessories, please raise a return request within 24 hours of delivery. In case you receive a product with a missing, incorrect, or faulty accessory, you will be given a replacement accessory instead of the entire product.

Please make sure that the product is in the original packaging with all the accessories it came with. We'll also need an unboxing video and images of the parcel to investigate about the discrepancy. You may be asked to share images of the product and the packaging received for us to determine the damage or defect prior to approving the return request. The free replacement will be shipped only once the original order is returned.

A replacement will be issued only if:

- It is found to be defective 
- It is determined that the product was not damaged while in your possession
- The product is not different from what was shipped to you

The RAPTGO team took on this task and, through meticulous engineering and testing, succeeded in creating an IEM that combines the qualities of these drivers with tonal perfection. RAPTGO is happy to accomplish a product that is tuned to balance and allows the listener to notice the acoustic superiority of these drivers as well as enjoy the music via their harmonic tone, in contrast to other IEMs that pack in several drivers.

METICULOUSLY TUNED TO DELIVER A HIGHLY ENGAGING LISTENING EXPERIENCE

The RAPTGO Hook-X is powered by a planar magnetic driver, which consists of a narrow ribbon hanging between two strong magnets and through which electrical currents flow. RAPTGO created its own 14.2mm planar driver, which is powered by N52 magnets. Because the ribbon is more receptive to transient impulses, the accuracy of this driver provides a very snappy and dramatic sub-bass performance. A custom-developed 18-layered double-sided piezoelectric driver complements the 14.2mm planar magnetic driver's excellent full-frequency response. The piezoelectric driver improves on the balanced armature and even electrostatic drivers in terms of resolution and air. Furthermore, the hybrid driver array broadens the frequency range from 20Hz to 40kHz. The RAPTGO Hook-X provides a balanced and natural sound performance thanks to well-calibrated internal housing construction and acoustic dampening technology. Hook-X presents a broad 3D soundscape that brings our music to life.

OPEN ACOUSTIC DESIGN FUSED WITH EXQUISITE WORKMANSHIP FOR A COMFORTABLE FIT

The RAPTGO Hook-X is built with an open-back design. The planar magnetic driver's properties are highlighted by airflow in this arrangement. Furthermore, compared to traditional IEMs, this option expands the soundstage, emulating the openness and lifelike playback of open-back planar headphones. Finally, the open-back design reduces listening fatigue by preventing pressure accumulation within the ear. The Hook-X housing was designed using software following several simulation attempts to fit the usual ear angle and wearing experience. Each unit is made using a high-precision 5-axis CNC to assure acoustic chamber consistency. Simultaneously, a more complex secondary anodising technique is used, resulting in a more modern and energetic look for the HOOK-sleek X's design. BUNDLED WITH A HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO CABLE WITH SWAPPABLE TERMINATION PLUGS

Every feature of the RAPTGO Hook-X has been meticulously chosen to provide a refined experience. Following this path, the Hook-X has a modular connection wire terminated to a 0.78mm 2-pin jack as standard. Because of the modular architecture, you may switch the connector between the 4.4mm, 2.5mm, and 3.5mm balanced and unbalanced jacks to use with any of your devices. The shells are light weight. The cable is made up of a cloth like material. The sound stage is good. The treble is detailed without sounding overly bright. These iems sound best with amplification. The bass quantity and quality are good. However, in my opinion these does not have the same level of impact or slam or shaking feel as that of a good dynamic driver. With some songs I get the feeling that the mids are slightly recessed.

My first planar iem, very nice build quality. Fits nicely. Sound is awesome with wide soundstage, punchy bass and great mids while highs are rich and not pinchy to ears.
Thanks to HPZ team for making this available in India first.

Awesome Soundstage and Resolution, Great Bass For A Planar

One important note before I share my experience - tip rolling is a must. Please try out the ones supplied with the set as well as ones you might have from previous IEM purchases to make sure you're getting the best sound. If you fill any harshness even after trying all tips at your disposal - buy Spinfits. I am getting the best performance using a set of Large tips from a previous IEM - not sure which as I keep all tips together. Now - with that out of the way - the soundstage and resolution are out of this world. I started with "At The Black Hawk" by "Shelly Manne & His Men" and was amazed at how even the clink of cutlery and distant telephone rings were clear and present. For the initial few minutes - I was repeatedly pausing my music because I felt the sound had come from inside my house somewhere and wanted to check. After getting used to and then thoroughly enjoying the resolution, instrumentation separation and soundstage - I wanted to test the bass performance of the set - one area where planars had often left me wanting. So I switched to "Desire Path" by "Lila Tirando a Violeta". And I was not disappointed - add tight and impactful bass to everything else I mentioned before. Finally - all tracks played on Shanling M3X (also from HPZ) - using the 4.4mm termination on the Hook-X. This was my step up from the S12; I was waiting for the Heyday but then watched a video by Gizaudio (reviewing Heyday) where Timmy mentioned that those looking for a warmer sound should go for the Hook-X and glad I made this choice.

RAPTGO - Hook-X

RAPTGO - Hook-X is a novel and innovative driver design. There are tons of Planer magnetic driver based designs available in 2022. Linsoul decided to blend it with double-sided PZT Driver and created unique analog output. Of course it’s got issues with treble region which needs to be fixed in future iterations. Despite that the experiment succeeded in creating a sound signature which I haven’t found in even top brand Chinese tuning. As an unintended or otherwise consequence it captures perceptual mood like melody or emotional features better than the most. Hopefully Linsoul will keep this fact in mind for future iterations and won’t sacrifice this beautiful aspect for standard acoustic feature accuracy measures by which IEM are measured. Another great aspect is quality of the wire provided. Finally the build quality: it’s rock sold with great ergonomics. Worth a try for anyone looking for a balance between digital and perceptual signature of sound.
