Our Verdict

The plastic build quality, and the lack of a microphone to pick up and drop calls leaves a lot to be desired. But the 2 year warranty from Sennheiser is impressive.

A Metal body, a universal Microphone, and super ergonomics, what's there not to like about the 1More Piston Fit?

Sony's entry level earphone. Plastic build, but great sound with a universal mic to pick up and drop calls.

Entry level earphoens from JBL. These are ergonomic, come with a mic to pick up and drop calls. But the plastic build quality is a let down.

DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING THESE. READ FULL REVIEW FOR THE REASON!!

I bought it from amazon around a year ago. I am very choosy while selecting earphones. Earlier i was using Boat basshead 600 which at that time were JUST AWESOME!!. Later after 2 years they stopped working. I am a basshead and look for bassy headphones. Then after researching for about 1 month I ordered these. But it did not meet my expectations. Bass is very muddy. Highs are just very sharp( very shrill sounding ) even at 60% volume. At 100% you can think that what type of quality it would have ☠☠☠. I checked out if it was duplicate but it was not. It was 100% original product. Sennheiser disappointed me. But a few months back, I ordered 1MORE PISTON FIT for my sister. And I have to say it is just mind blowing. No muddy bass. No sharp highs. Perfectly balanced audio. Though bass was less than cx180 but sound quality was just amazing. . There was no distortion at even 100% volume. I can live with balanced bass for such a good sound happily. And i would surely recommed anyone to go for 1MORE piston fit. They are just simply amazing. I WOULD NOT RECCOMED ANYONE TO GO FOR SENNHEISER CX180. THIS IS MY HONEST REVIEW.

IF YOU WANT BASS UNDER 1000RS THEN GO FOR
BOAT BASSHEAD 900 AVAILABLE ON AMAZON

But if you want blalnced sound THEN GO FOR
1MORE PISTON FIT.

DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING SENNHEISER CX180.

Just OKAY!

The bass is weird, the sub-bass is there and then the frequencies around 40-60Hz take a dip.
The treble is harsh and results in ear fatigue just in a few minutes.
Doesn't have the Sennheiser sound signature (or Sennheiser veil as some say), I like the Sennheiser sound signature that results in smooth and laid back sound that you can enjoy for hours without getting tired, but this one lacks it and add to that the harsh highs and you got a terrible product that isn't really a Sennheiser (sound wise).
I upgraded from a Sennheiser MX 170 and I can say that sounds much better than the CX 180. CX 180 has no soundstage, poor imaging but the instrument separation is okay, cannot say anything about the clarity though because the sharp highs just make my tinnitus worse, so I cannot really listen to it critically.
So I ditched it and ordered the Soundmagic E10C(the most awarded IEM under $50), it's on the way as I write this review.
I expected more from Sennheiser with their IEMs especially when the MX170 which are old style earbuds and cheap sound so good, and cheap Philips IEMs(that I tested, probably were SHE3590) outdid them in clarity. mids and smooth sound.

So, terrible headphones for the price. But the build is fine.

Never buy Senheiser cx 180. Not happy with the product

I bought Sennheiser CX180 after reading all the good reviews....But i am extremely dissatisfied with the product. The sound quality is not as expected and the cable quality is worst... One side wire broke within 10 days...i feel so sad that i wasted my Money on this cheap product and the warranty doesn't include any physical damage so i can't even claim the warranty now:( sound and cable quality of a 300rs earphones outside are much better than thiss..

Poor quality

Received original product, was impressed by sound qualify, loudness & bass but headset stopped working just after 1 month even thought i took great care of them. Now on papers they have 2 years warranty but service center is 100km+ away so i can't get them replaced :(

design & comfort is good. For sound, bass is very impressively crystal clear!! You can easily pickup on bass strings. even at high volume it doesn't get blurred.

Basshead! We got a basshead over here guys! That's awesome. Thanks for review my Basshead friend :)
