This was the first time I ordered from the Headphone Zone and I'm not disappointed. The headphones look exceptionally good for the price, I ordered the blue ones. It has a sleek metallic headband and matte finish over the ear cups which looks and feels awesome in my opinion. Coming over to the sound quality, they are bass heavy. The bass is very thumping and you can actually feel your ears vibrating at higher volume levels. The lows and mids are very crisp with decent highs. Noise reduction is actually good. I can't even hear my own voice once I start listening to the music. The build quality is also very good. It has flat cables which do not tangle. The ear pads are soft but I was not able to wear them for more than 1 hour due to the heat generated and the pain around ears. It definitely needs some time getting used to or it could be just me as I'm more of in-ear earphones type of guy! The mic and in-line remote are added conveniences and do a decent job for taking calls or skipping music. Overall, I think they are really good for the price and if you're hungry for that bass to blow your ears then you cannot go wrong with these. If you are not a bass head or rather prefer more of a flat sound signature then I would suggest to go for the Audio Technica ATH-M20x's instead. Thank you Headphone Zone for such a nice pair of headphones and quick delivery. \(^_^\)
please just check the price on amazon and then buy it from here because that is the only mistake I did since it was 300 bucks cheaper there. Otherwise no problems with the headphones, they work really good and the delivery was good (they do it by bludart which sometimes sucks, but it didn't happen for me).
I have been using Skullcandy, jbl, xb450 from Sony earlier, I wanted to test the waters between xb 550 and 450 so brought it just for comparison
So what is the difference? Many ask but few answer.
My answers is the bass on the 450 is boomy and it spreads but it's also loud
While the 550 has less bass but it's precise and not much loud compared to xb450 you won't feel spreading of bass.
I used both with iPhone, laptop, lgv30 and Walkman nwz e474
All with bass mode in equilizer
So In my opinion go for 550 if you between purist and "clear bass head" or go for 450 if you want those vibrations and booooooooom effect
But both are good if not the best
Funny thing is the Skullcandy anti can easily keep up with these to but that's a different story!
The bass is good and it does a good amount of noise cancellation. The only problem I see is that it starts sweating in the ears and ears starts aching after 30 mins usage.
The headphones arrived very fast within five days. The packing was really good. The pair looks amazing and is very sturdy. I loved the sound quality and is comfortable on the ears. Love it!
Nice but Not that good
