SoundMAGIC created the E80S earphones intending to offer studio-level sound quality to everyone. The high definition transducers deliver accurate sound, clear bass and stereo separation. Overall the SoundMAGIC E80S provides audiophile-grade sound, with a balanced and precise sound stage.
The E80S incorporates smart switch remote, a user changeable switch to allow Apple as well as Android users full control of their smartphone. Owners of multiple smartphones can quickly and easily interchange devices to control call-answer and end functions.
The redeveloped driver design of the E80S incorporates new high purity copper winding material specially imported from Japan. This material results in a higher impedance rating requiring more driving power to achieve the full potential of the E80S. A high resolution digital audio player or headphone amplifier will bring out the best sound.
The SoundMAGIC E80S features a barrel-shaped aluminium housing with excellent ergonomics design making the earphone highly durable. The E80S comes with pairs of multiple silicone and comply eartips of varied sizes. This will allow each user to get their perfect in-ear fit. I've been a Soundmagic e80 fan for years now. They've been my daily drivers ever since I discovered them. I am an audiophile and I haven't found a single headphone in the market which can deliver such sound in such a low price. Build quality is sadly questionable in the long term. You can't expect them to last for years even with careful usage. This is my 3rd pair in 6 years. Issues like reduced sound in one of the drivers, cable tear/cut due to regular use or even the connector jack may suffer with loose connection overtime. Despite of these drawbacks, I saw these were on sale(3k₹) and grabbed them without a second thought. I'll keep them as a backup pair now! ;)
This pair of headphones is a treat for all the music lovers out there. This headphones give the best audio experience without emptying your pockets!! :)
I got more than what i expected! Kudos to headphone zone for such wonderful service!
Thanks SoundMAGIC for such a beautiful product! :)))
I have heard the buzz of value for money for the SoundMAGIC E80S. I just don't agree. The term implies that there is a compromise somewhere in the deal; there is none. The E80S does not compromise on sound, comfort and isolation. Yes, the styling is staid. I paid ₹3599 for my E80S. I would have paid three times that. Thats the deal, I am talking about. Value, yes, but without any compromise whatsoever.
I am a serious listener and never compromise on sound. Not an audiophile but not a casual listener, either. My music source is a iPhone 6 Plus 128 gb, which crams in 10000 songs at 256 kbps plus. I have a wide range of genre's, preferences being, Jazz, Country and Classic Rock.
I had a SoundMAGIC E10M for the last three years and boy was I proud of it! After hearing it, I managed to convince at least ten other people to go in for that. Somewhere, fatigue set in and I decided to upgrade.
That's when Headphone Zone's digital marketing took over! I was just overwhelmed by the detailing and the wide choice on offer. I spent no less than 10 hours before I zeroed in on E80S. By then, I had shortlisted another five models and was confused at 5.20 am in the morning, when I made my choice.
Next day, at 8.30 am, I was pleasantly surprised to see a mail from Raghav. I wrote back to clear my nagging doubts and he replied back to confirm my decision.
When I got my E80S, I was shattered. The sound with shrill with no bass. Over time, I noticed the sound had mellowed. The burn in period is still on, but even now it sounds like a masterpiece, isolation is perfect and comfort is right up there, with the Comply eartips.
The clarity is amazing, soundstage and separation exquisite. (No trace of sibilance as some reviewers have made out). I would give this a score of 95/100.
One word. The E80S has 64 ohms of impedance. Therefore, to get its raw power, combine this with a portable amp. I am using Brainwave AP001 and this jodi just rocks. You can try Fiio @ ₹1899 also.
First i wanna start off by saying the product is good, i mean the sound quality, it has good bass and very clear vocals and everything is fine.
Noise isolation is really good.
The only thing which made me give 1 star for this product is its wiring.
The wiring is very very delicate, and for my earphones the copper wiring was out only after a half day's use, and another thing is it wasn't compatible with my phone, it was only compatible with my laptop, they provide you with a connector but it didn't work properly too. I was really sad that ive spend 3k over it and it didn't even last half a day, i was expecting a lot but it clearly dissapointed me with it's wire quality.
I previously used sennheiser cx275s. If you want a balanced sound and a long life i'll suggest you buy cx275s, with a bit of careful usage it served me well for 3 and half years.
