Pair it with KZ Acoustics ZSN Pro X and you've got yourself a killer combo. I use both of them together and I'm blown away by sheer quality audio I've been missing out on my whole life. Audio output is very clear, crystal clear infact. No hissing, skips, pops which plagued me with Venture Electronics Odyssey HD cable.
This is an absolute beast of a chip and a steal at this price. Using Poweramp atm will switch to Uapp soon.
This was my second buy from headphonezone to complete my beginner audiophile setup and I love it. I brought the iOS version to use with my iPhone XR and iMac and it works seamlessly with them since comes with a lightning adaptor (for the iPhone) and a USB adaptor (for the mac.) I also use the apple music services and it's hi-res lossless songs plays perfectly with this as an external DAC.
It smoothens out my DQ6's highs really nicely and it doesn't need any EQ-ing anymore. The volume is also more amplified from both the iPhone and iMac. This also has an automatic high gain mode which can be tricked by using a 3.5mm male to female adaptor but I haven't tried it.
The only downside is the micro-usb port at the DAC end and the physical volume buttons which is a great idea but there aren't enough volume steps.
All-in-all this one is a great buy.

For the money I spent, (Rs 3500)they are pretty good value, initially i was not very impressed, i found them a bit shrill and disturbing in terms of too much sound, less of " music", then i paired them with tachjim tanya and spinfit 100 , and bingo ! - they're giving a stiff fight to much more expensive combinations (I currently have 3 different options, matched sets, costing Rs 15 k , Rs 35 k, and this one was 6k) I'd heartily recommend them , but you'll need warm sounding iems with it, that emphasise mids, the bass has a nice thwack to them, fast, which i like . I dont crave boom all that much, I can live without it. I'm getting "music" now.
