The TOPPING G5 is a next-generation portable DAC & Amp that features some of the best components in its circuitry that enable it to deliver exceptional sonic performance. The TOPPING G5 features ESS's sub-flagship ES9068AS Sabre DAC chip. It achieves good performance with careful adjustment of THD+N less than 0.00010% and a dynamic range of 124dB. The ES9068A is a feature-rich 32-bit, 2-channel audio D/A converter. Using the critically acclaimed ESS patented HyperStream® II architecture, QUAD DAC™ technology, Time Domain Jitter Eliminator, and advanced SABRE HIFI® technology, the ES9068A delivers a performance level that will satisfy the most demanding audio enthusiast. The G5 uses an NFCA (Nested Feedback Composite Amplifier) module specially modified for portable devices, which can achieve large output, low distortion, and good battery life. The NFCA is a headphone amplifier module that outputs a power of 1200mW*2. It pairs with high sensitivity IEMs and power-hungry high impedance headphones. The ES9068AS Sabre DAC chip and built-in NFCA module allow G5 to deliver clean and precise audio reproduction.


G5 DOUBLES UP AS A USB DAC & AMP AND BLUETOOTH TRANSMITTER WITH XMOS AND QUALCOMM CHIPSETS IN ITS CIRCUITRY
The team of engineers at TOPPING have designed the G5 to be a simple device with which you can plug & play and delve into your music. The TOPPING G5 has a wide range of compatibility with Windows 10 or above, MAC, Linux, iOS, and Android. The TOPPING G5 supports USB, Bluetooth, and AUX transmission. TOPPING G5 uses 2nd generation XMOS, USB supports up to PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) 32Bit/768kHz and DSD512 native. With USB-IN G5 supports 44.1kHz-768kHz/16-32Bit and DSD native DSD64-DSD512 (Direct Stream Digital) and DSD64-DSD256 (DoP) (DSD Over PCM). The TOPPING G5 has the certification of Hi-Res Audio Wireless and LDAC with the support of 24Bit96kHz. It uses the newest QCC5125 chipset to support LDAC, aptX, aptX LL, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, AAC, and SBC protocols. To get even better sound quality from Bluetooth, the engineers designed to abandon the built-in DAC of QCC5125 and connect its digital signal to ES9068AS to decode. After pairing the G5 with a mobile phone/player/tablet by Bluetooth, the headphone is free from the cables.



GROOVE ON TO YOUR MUSIC FOR UP TO 25 HOURS ON A SINGLE CHARGE
The G5 has a built-in 4000mAh battery so that it does not need to rely on the power supply of the mobile phone like other portable DAC & AMPs, so it will not reduce the battery life of the mobile phone or the device to which it is connected. Due to the optimisation, the G5 can get 25 hours of battery life at AUX input; even if it is in DAC mode, it can get 9 to 10 hours of battery life. The TOPPING G5's playtime varies depending on the source or inputs and different gain settings. It offers more than 9 hours in USB mode with the gain settings set to low or medium and more than 6.5 hours when the gain setting is high. In Bluetooth mode, G5 offers more than 10 hours of battery life with gain settings set to low or medium and more than 8 hours when the gain setting is high. TOPPING G5 offers a whopping 25 hours of battery life when operated in AUX mode with gain settings set to low or medium and more than 13 hours with gain settings high.



OFFERS 3 STEP GAIN SETTINGS MAKING IT IDEAL FOR ALL KINDS OF HEADPHONES AND IEMS
G5 provides 3-step gain settings so that high-sensitivity or low-sensitivity headphones can obtain a comfortable gain range. The output level as high as 21Vpp and the output power of 175mW under 300 ohms load is enough to drive high impedance headphones; The <0.3uVrms ultra-low noise and <0.192 output impedance allow sensitive IEMs to perform at their best. With these gain settings, you will have enough headroom to power the most demanding headphones. When the gain setting is low, it gives -15dB, -0.1dB on medium, and 12dB on high. G5 provides 2.8Vpp on low, 11Vpp on medium, and 21Vpp on high gain settings for output levels.


SMALL AND EXQUISITE ALUMINIUM BODY WITH ANTI-MISTOUCH AND ANTI-BREAKING DESIGN WITH THOUGHTFUL CONNECTIVITY AND BUNDLED WITH ACCESSORIES
The TOPPING G5 uses a single piece of aluminium to make a delicate and sturdy casing through precise CNC machining. The faux leather on the bottom keeps the G5 from scratching when stacked with other devices. G5 is designed with corner guards at both ends to protect the entire panel, effectively preventing the volume knob from being mistouched in the pocket, reducing the possibility of breaking the headphone plug. The design of the G5 is exquisite, offering a gain setting switch and input selection switch. It also has dual USB-C ports, one for charging and the other for DAC type for USB DAC mode. The TOPPING G5 has a 4.4mm pentaconn balanced output and a 3.5mm single-ended output jack. It also has a LINE IN/OUT port. The G5 has a smooth volume knob that acts as a power switch in tandem. The TOPPING G5 comes bundled with a wide array of accessories like a 3.5 to 3.5 audio cable, USB charging cable, straight type-C to type-C cable, elbow type-C to type-C cable, two sets of a rubber band, rubber pad, user manual, and warranty card. The TOPPING G5 features ESS's sub-flagship ES9068AS Sabre DAC chip. It achieves good performance with careful adjustment of THD+N less than 0.00010% and a dynamic range of 124dB. The ES9068A is a feature-rich 32-bit, 2-channel audio D/A converter. Using the critically acclaimed ESS patented HyperStream® II architecture, QUAD DAC™ technology, Time Domain Jitter Eliminator, and advanced SABRE HIFI® technology, the ES9068A delivers a performance level that will satisfy the most demanding audio enthusiast. The G5 uses an NFCA (Nested Feedback Composite Amplifier) module specially modified for portable devices, which can achieve large output, low distortion, and good battery life. The NFCA is a headphone amplifier module that outputs a power of 1200mW*2. It pairs with high sensitivity IEMs and power-hungry high impedance headphones. The ES9068AS Sabre DAC chip and built-in NFCA module allow G5 to deliver clean and precise audio reproduction.

With USB-IN G5 supports 44.1kHz-768kHz/16-32Bit and DSD native DSD64-DSD512 (Direct Stream Digital) and DSD64-DSD256 (DoP) (DSD Over PCM). The TOPPING G5 has the certification of Hi-Res Audio Wireless and LDAC with the support of 24Bit96kHz. It uses the newest QCC5125 chipset to support LDAC, aptX, aptX LL, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, AAC, and SBC protocols. To get even better sound quality from Bluetooth, the engineers designed to abandon the built-in DAC of QCC5125 and connect its digital signal to ES9068AS to decode. G5 provides 3-step gain settings so that high-sensitivity or low-sensitivity headphones can obtain a comfortable gain range. The output level as high as 21Vpp and the output power of 175mW under 300 ohms load is enough to drive high impedance headphones; The <0.3uVrms ultra-low noise and <0.192 output impedance allow sensitive IEMs to perform at their best.
