How do I verify if the pre-owned product being sold is original?
The seller is required to provide a copy of his invoice to be able to list his product. This should be enough proof for facilitating any warranty claims. Besides, some products also come with serial numbers which should help verify the authenticity of the product.
What if I don't want all the items listed as available in a pre-owned product listing?
The same can be communicated to the seller, and if he so wishes, he can work out a deal for you. Otherwise, it is advised to buy the product with all the accessories as mentioned in the listing.
What if the headphones I received are out of warranty?
If the product's warranty period has lapsed, it is advised that you check for availability of a service center for that brand in India. Service centers are technically capable to repair gear that might go bust for a fee.
Can I use any old store credit I may have got from Headphone Zone against buying pre-owned headphones?
Yes, there are no restrictions on the way a buyer needs to pay for pre-owned gear. It is like any other purchase on Headphone Zone.
Can I buy Pre-owned gear on EMI?
Yes, absolutely. Except cash on delivery, all payment forms are accepted.
If I want to buy more than one item from the same seller, can I get a discount?
It entirely depends on the seller. Negotiations are not allowed, however since it's our job to convey any kind of buyer communication to the seller, we shall do that and leave the rest to the seller.
Is there any quality control responsibility that Heaphone Zone will take for such gear?
As of now, we haven't figured out a way to conduct any quality checks. However, we trust our customers to list genuine, fully functioning products and honestly mention any problems that might be present. The buyer will be the one to confirm if the product matches the description and that there aren't any unknown issues that might be discovered. To avoid any confusion we shall intermediate any conversation between the buyer and seller. Other than that, Headphone Zone tries its best to protect its buyers by getting as much information about the seller and his gear to achieve transparency in the transaction. Once the buyer confirms if the product matches the description and that there aren't any unknown issues that might be discovered, store credit for the sale amount is provided to the seller.
What if I want to see more pictures of the item listed?
Put in a request by writing to us and we don't think the seller should mind providing any additional pictures. If needed, please be clear if you need a picture of something specific.

Who gets the money?
While making the purchase, the amount goes to Headphone Zone first. Once the buyer confirms if the product matches the description and that there aren't any unknown issues that might be discovered, store credit for sale amount is provided to the seller.
Can I negotiate the price?
Yes, only if the product listing has the price negotiation option. The price is set as per the seller's instructions and shall change only on his instructions.
Will the invoice be in my name?
For that to happen, the original bill will have to be altered which is impossible. Nonetheless, claiming warranty shouldn't be a problem as long as you have the invoice for date reference.
Can I talk to the person before purchasing from him?
Headphone Zone reserves the right of mediating all conversations between the interested buyer and the seller of the pre-owned product. For all questions you may have, you can write us an email and we'll get all the necessary answers in order for you to go ahead with the purchase.
Will I get any freebies while buying pre-owned gear?
Entirely depends on the seller. If he chooses to bundle something for free, we will have it mentioned on the listing.
POST PURCHASE
What if the headphones are not in working condition?
In such an unfortunate scenario we will pick up the product from you, inspect it ourselves and provide a resolution on the matter. Such a situation will be very unlikely as we ensure at the time of listing that a product in fully functional condition only can be listed.
What if I don't like gear?
Our 7 day Test drive, Return and Exchange policy does not apply to sale of pre-owned products. A buyer is allowed to ask as many questions to the seller and can take his time to be very sure of the product. If there is a defect then we shall intervene and have the matter sorted out for you.
What if the product does not match the pictures?
Every buyer gets 2 days to decide whether the pre-owned product matches up to the description as provided by the seller. If the product doesn't look like the one in the pictures, you can take pictures of the product and send it to us so that we can confirm if it is indeed different. In this case, we will arrange for a pickup of the product and send it back to the seller and the transaction will end there.
How do I claim warranty?
A seller is required to send his original invoice along with his pre-owned headphones to you. You will be able to claim warranty against this invoice.
How will I know that my order for pre-owned gear has been dispatched?
Once the product is picked up from the seller, a tracking ID will be sent in a shipping confirmation email so that you can track your order.
Can I list the pre-owned headphone I bought again on the website to be sold again to someone else?
Sure, shouldn't be an issue. Just mention in your listing that it is a second hand product and maintain the original invoice copy.
What if I don't get all the items as listed in the used product listing?
It can be a mistake. We will ask the seller to send any such items to you.
What if I want to return my used headphones for a brand new one?
A return will be accepted only if there are any defects in the pre-owned gear you just bought.
