The new MACH 30 comes with three balanced-armature drivers per side. Three drivers are fused, one for the low-frequency response, one for the midrange, and one for the high-frequency response. This architecture enables each driver to handle the three frequencies individually. The drivers are constructed in a three-way arrangement. This architecture's detail retrieval offers a rapid transient response. The MACH 30 delivers balanced lows, mids, and highs with remarkable clarity and responsiveness are what you hear. You get a responsive and ultra-accurate response since balanced-armature drivers are more efficient than traditional dynamic drivers. The 3-way design features two passive crossovers and boasts a warm balance across the entire 20Hz–18kHz frequency response. The sub-bass has additional depth and rumble because of the natural bass extension that the MACH 30 offers. The bass has a powerful impact and a well-balanced texture. It is linear throughout, having clean fundamental tones, subtle midrange tinkering, and an upper midrange presence. The depth, layering, and tonality of MACH 30 are excellent. Both male and female vocals have a precise, substantial and clear presentation. The treble range is airy. Overall, it is pitched at a level that most listeners will find the MACH 30 pleasant. The MACH 30 does extend admirably into the upper treble, accurately catching all the harmonics and overtones in that region with holographic and airy depiction.

With T2 connectors, the durable Linum® Estron BaX™ cable is included with the Westone Audio MACH 30. BaX is a sturdy, thin reference cable constructed of silver-plated copper. You may concentrate on your music by listening to the accurate and elegant BaX cable music transmission. High-end reference-grade BaX cables deliver music without loss and with remarkable accuracy, impact, and dynamics. The stereo imaging capabilities are enhanced with sound reproduction in all three dimensions. As a result of the reduced crosstalk of the two twisted Linum wires, the Linum® BaX™ has no microphonics. The Estron T2 connections on the BaX earphone cable have a quick-pull release. They provide a solid connection to the socket. You shouldn't be concerned about the in-ears coming out when you perform on stage.
