The ES9038Q2M DAC chip offers a clear and transparent audio reproduction. Another strong point of the SU-6 is its second-generation USB XMOS interface. This interface allows one to take advantage of USB-C input to support high sampling rates, up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD512, for a sound of incredible fidelity. Awesome Dac for the price

Bought this dac after a lot of research, was torn down between Fiio BTA30. Mustered up the courage and ordered it after checking a few YouTube reviews. The dac performs as expected. The only drawback is not all isb cables work with, the original MacBook cable is not working with it, hence need to make sure you use the provided cable with an adapter/extension if required or search for a compatible cable. Tried it with a MacBook, iPhone and iPad and it worked like a charm on all 3. Tried tracks up to 192khz and the dac auto switched on the iPhone and iPad, however Mac MIDI settings are capped at 44.1khz, so need to manually change that to avoid compression. Bluetooth on all 3 devices only support AAC, hence unable to test LDAC functionality. But it played well without stuttering even if I left the room and came back. All in all a very good Dac for the price.

Best DAC for its price

Value for money DAC. Very good audio quality while using its Bluetooth. Being used with Norge 2000 MOSFET Reference amplifier and Tower Speakers. Good bass control

Versatile DAC that can handle a variety of inputs + Bluetooth!

this DAC can:
1. take USB input from PC/Laptop
2. Work in bluetooh rx mode and pushes hi-res audio out
3. Also accepts optical in therefore also accepts input from TVs etc.

The only thing it cant do is turn into a bluetooth tx, other than that, works quite well and is super versatile for the price point. It also has no dedicated headphone out, you will need an RCA to 3.5mm female connector, but it can power my 250ohm DT990 pros with ease.
