Hi ,
I have been looking for a c to 3.5 jack audio converter for my s23 ultra phone . tried many brands from amazon and online portals but none of them worked in a perfect manner. When I saw a youtube review for DACS from headphonezone , decided to go for the abigail.It works fine though the audio quality is not like flagship ones. very useful product for this price .

Annoying hissing sound

The build quality is good , but there is an annoying sound coming from the dac. This noise is pretty noticable at low volumes and causes a lot of discomfort while listening to music . I have used the kz edx pro with this dac. Edx pro does not fit well in this dac , if I move a little while wearing headphones , the headphones come out of the dac a little and the audio quality and the volume of the song reduces and sometimes produces a hissing sound. Apart from these two issues the Abigail dac has a good build and decent audio quality. But it's a bit overpriced considering the problems I have faced.

The Abigail sure sounds a lot better than the inbuilt DACs on most smartphones. While it does not give you the breathtaking details and dynamism of some of the slightly more expensive DACs, it should convince all sceptics of the difference in the sound quality that upgrading a DAC can make.
