In case you receive the Colorfly - CDA-M2 with a manufacturing defect, please raise a return request within 7 days of delivery.

However, if you receive an incorrect / damaged / different product or one with missing accessories, please raise a return request within 24 hours of delivery. In case you receive a product with a missing, incorrect, or faulty accessory, you will be given a replacement accessory instead of the entire product.

Please make sure that the product is in the original packaging with all the accessories it came with. We'll also need an unboxing video and images of the parcel to investigate about the discrepancy. You may be asked to share images of the product and the packaging received for us to determine the damage or defect prior to approving the return request. The free replacement will be shipped only once the original order is returned.

A replacement will be issued only if:

- It is found to be defective
- It is determined that the product was not damaged while in your possession
- The product is not different from what was shipped to you

POWERFUL AMPLIFICATION WITH TWO XR2001 CHIPSETS AND SUPPORTS DUAL HEADPHONE OUTPUTS

Colorfly CDA M2 features two XR2001 operational amplification chipsets, along with dual headphone output ports. The two separate XR2001 operational amplifier chipset work independently with dedicated 3.5mm and 4.4mm connections. This configuration provides powerful driving power, delivering a dynamic audio experience. The CDA M2 has an output power rating of 250mW per channel through the 4.4mm port and 125mW per channel through the 3.5mm port. The CDA M2 is engineered to be universally compatible with various operating systems and offers plug-and-play compatibility for ease of use. The Colorfly CDA M2 is compatible with Apple iOS devices, Android system devices and Windows system devices. For operating systems below Windows 10, drivers can be downloaded from the official website of Colorfly. Colofly also features UAC 1.0 game mode in CDA M2, which works efficiently with gaming consoles, including Nintendo Switch and PS5. You can also use CDA M2 as a high-resolution decoder for gaming consoles, bringing a true-to-life audio experience to the consoles. In UAC 1.0 mode, the CDA-M2 supports a maximum input of 16Bit/44.1 or 48kHz audio formats.

Striking the right balance between Nalaytical and Musical

I was always wanting to own a dongle dac/amp with a Cirrus Logic chip. The Colorfly CDA M2 (Second in the M series from Colorfly) came along and I had to grab it. The CS 43198 is a very good chip and you are going to see this in many many more dacs in 2024.

Build - Solid Aluminum Chassis with tactile buttons and led, so no complaints here. Just 1 usb c cable makes it tough for iphone users. Provision for a lightning cable would have been a optimum one.

Sound wise the 2 most important standouts are ;
1. Dynamics (Superb)
2. Power (The dual OP amps, one for each channel, is a no brainer). However in terms of "power to drive" this still does not come close to my favorite, the Hidizs S9 Pro.

Added features - It has some filters (built-in) which does not color the sound in any major way, still pretty nuetral. It also has a gain (low/high) mode for iems with low impedence. Lastly a pleasant surprise is the coaxial SPDIF output.

To summarize the CDA M2 is a solid performer for clean nuetral sound capable to drive power hungry devices .
