Shanling M6 Ultra is a Hi-Res certified by the Japanese Audio Society. It is Hi-Res Audio, Hi-Res Wireless Audio certified. The M6 Ultra is the first portable player from Shanling, adapting the newest generation AKM DACs, utilising quad AK4493SEQ for a unique Quad-DACs design. The DAC chips that DAP houses are its most crucial component. A team of engineers at Shanling developed the architecture of the M6 Ultra to support high-performance AKM DAC chips with this design aspect in mind. The AK4493SEQ is a stereo premium 32-bit DAC with VELVET SOUND™ technology, achieving low distortion characteristics and a wide dynamic range. The AK4493SEQ integrates a switched capacitor filter "OSR Doubler", making it capable of supporting wide range signals and achieving low out-of-band noise while releasing low power consumption. The M6 Ultra hosts Quad AK4493SEQ DAC chips that support DSD512 (Direct Stream Digital), PCM 768kHz/32Bit Hi-Res formats. FEATURES BRAND-NEW HIGH-VOLTAGE LINEARIN OPAMPS AND IMPROVED OP+BUF ARCHITECTURE FUSED WITH TI-OPA1612 THAT Provide DISTORTION-FREE LINEAR POWER OUTPUT

An audio amplifier maintains the detail of the smaller signal while boosting the loudness to a practical level known as linearity. The output signal is a more accurate reflection of the input signal the higher the linearity of the amplifier. Taking this design aspect into consideration a team of engineers at Shanling developed the M6 Ultra to accommodate Quad OPA1612 and Dual OPA2211 in its circuitry. The DAC section of M6 Ultra was designed with four TI-OPA1612, splitting the balanced audio signal between all four DACs achieving a completely independent balanced output. Two TI-OPA2211 are incorporated in its circuitry for low noise and high bandwidth performance. The circuitry is surrounded by top-quality Panasonic tantalum-polymer capacitors, two for each of the four DACs. The M6 Ultra adapts a brand-new high-voltage Linearin LTA8092 opamps, partnered with a well-proven BUF634A, combined with the AKM DACs for a slightly warmer and relaxed sound following in tracks of the M8 and the original lineup of AKM-based M6 & M6 Pro. TI-BUF634A High-Speed Buffer Positioned at the driver stage provides proper current output creating the warmer and thicker sound of the M6 Ultra. Two Japanese KDS active crystal oscillators, 3rd Generation FPGA, and improved Shanling's algorithm provide better accuracy, reduced jitter and enhanced performance of the digital signal transmission. High-quality 100 F WE capacitors are used for refined sound and precise soundstage. The M6 Ultra hosts a balanced amplification circuitry, capable of continuous high power output, with plentiful energy reserves for all music genres. The tone is clean and precise for the most dynamic compositions on the M6 Ultra. A newly designed amplifier allows M6 Ultra to reach higher power outputs than older AKM-based M6 models. The M6 Ultra offers better performance with demanding full-size headphones. It provides an output power of 240mW@32 Ohms Single-Ended 3.5mm and 720mW @32 Ohms Balanced 4.4mm.

You can now stream music directly from M6 Ultra. The M6 Ultra is compatible with Bluetooth speakers and headphones, thanks to the two-way Bluetooth configuration. The audio in the M6 Ultra will be processed correctly and at its highest quality thanks to the AGLO technology, which ensures that the Android system operates at Hi-Fi levels. The Shanling M6 Ultra also supports NAS, DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) and Airplay streaming. It fits nicely into the home Hi-Fi system.
