The TOPPING L30 II has seen significant improvements throughout; It features an improved NFCA module with a low THD+N of less than 0.00006%, in contrast to less than 0.00007% on the L30. It also has an improved dynamic range of 144dB compared to 141dB on L30. The major improvement is in the amount of power; that the L30 II can deliver with precision. It delivers a power output of 560mW*2 in contrast to 280mW*2 on L30. The gain settings have also been improved with -14dB/0dB/16.5dB (L/M/H) in contrast to -9.9dB/0dB/9.5dB on the L30. A composite amplifier consists of two or more operational amplifiers cascaded together, with a negative-feedback loop around the entire network. The Composite amplifiers (also described as nested-feedback amplifiers) widen the bandwidth at high gain, boost slew rates, lower distortion, reduce output DC offset, and lessen noise. It provides 2x output power at a 300-ohm load compared to L30. The new circuit has 0.3uV ultra-low noise and 144dB dynamic range, and 0.00006% THD+N. With the help of NFCA, L30 II excels and has almost perfect performance regardless of distortion, dynamic range, and multi-tone testing. L30 II's output has high output voltage, high current, and low output impedance, which can drive most headphones. It is also possible to drive headphones with a high output current and a low output impedance. Due to its high output voltage, it can drive high-impedance headphones.

TOPPING has designed the L30 II to have a compact form factor. The TOPPING L30 II builds on the lineage and is easy to use, generating confidence for it to last for years. The front panel consists of an output switch to toggle between PRE output (RCA output) or HPA output (Headphone Output) or turn off. It also has a gain switch with H/M/L respectively to 16.5dB/0dB/-14dB. The L30 II has a power indicator on which the light will always be ON when the L30 II is turning ON and will turn OFF when the unit; is turned OFF. It also blinks to indicate unexpected output. The front panel also has a 6.35mm headphone output jack and a volume knob to adjust the volume. The rear panel has numerous inputs and outputs for easy connectivity and compatibility. Sounds thin, lifeless, flat, lacking bass and dynamics and has a harsh timbre in treble. Even if the DAC outputs full bodied natural sound, this amp makes that sound thin, lifeless and then presents it to the headphones. Tried with multiple Dacs and headphones but same thing. Also the unit gets very hot when in use

Very clean sounding amp. I could never believe an amplifier would improve sound quality so much till I tried them. The bass is more thumpy and dynamic, very clear vocals and I can understand the lyrics now and well extended treble with not a hint of distortion at any volume level and thanks to gain switches I can use it with both IEM and headphones. Pairs very well with my mojo and hifiman HE400SE.

I bought it this week and it was delivered all in time as HPZ said it would. The sound is amazing and honestly I love it. But I decided to return it because I faced an issue where the volume knob had too much resistance when going from 25% volume to 75%. Every time I tried turning it up or down in this range, I was afraid that I might break it. :(
