The 7HZ x Crinacle Zero: 2 builds upon the success of its forerunner, fulfilling the audio preferences requested by audiophiles. It offers enhanced bass, controlled treble, and a clear midrange. For those entering the hobby, this is a highly recommended choice.
With a very solid base, quite comfortable, with a very low weight, with very well executed and resolved bass, with a quite full and complex midrange and a moderately extended, but soft treble, the Zero 2 are in my top of very low budget models.
For budget-conscious or entry-level enthusiasts, the 7Hz x Crinacle Zero: 2 offer a taste of a popular IEM sound target. Or they can serve well as a secondary pair for reference.

The 7Hz Salnotes Zero has easily got to be among the best IEMs that you can get under Rs. 2000. This IEM puts a lot of its counterparts to shame and is a prime example of why you don't need to pay for tuning.
These IEMs have an absolutel cult following. No one had heard of Tangzu before the Wan'er S.G released. For good reason, they have the most natural sounding IEM in this segment.

For someone who was very happy with the original Salnotes ZERO, the ZERO:2 proved to be a rather disappointing exercise.
The 3db bass boost in the ZERO:2 skews the rather unusually neutral nature of the ZERO and renders it unfavourable to those looking for the same smooth tonality.
I was able to restore some sanity by applying a shelf EQ for 2db. But then, it would be easier to just take out the original ZERO instead!
If you thought the 3db boost would solve the lack of bass extension in the original ZERO, you will be mistaken. The 3db bass tilt ensures that the ZERO:2 no longer has what made the Salnotes ZERO so loved; the most balanced, neutral but engaging IEM at the below ₹2500 price range.
Maybe I expected a bit too much, especially given the price bump, anticipating a serious improvement.

Crinacle seems to have gotten in the picture and ruined the Product with the new tuning . As an owner of 3 or 4 Salnotes Zero ; I expected a proper enhancement in the V2 Product and ordered it as soon as it was available , but it seems to have been overdone on the Bass side which skews the tonality in the wrong direction totally . Super disappointed with the Megabass sounding now and cannot tolerate listening to familar material even for 15 seconds . Too much Bass !!!

I have been using them for about a week and I'm thoroughly impressed by what these IEMs have to offer at their price. I had been using TWS Galaxy Buds Live and felt like something was missing while listening to music. I also have pair of boat wired earphones and the every sound I hear on it is a version of boosted bass LOL. I do own Audio Technica M20x but they are bulky to wear and are not suitable for long. Although I had a higher budget, I wanted to start somewhere to see if IEMs are really my thing and these are turning out to be a great choice.
Comfort and Fit
They are lightweight and with the right tips don't cause any wearing fatigue or pain.
Build
The wire quality is average, I don't think it can handle too much stress. I'm not worried about it breaking as it can probably be replaced but that's a problem for another day. I'd suggest not to get rough with these and strictly use it indoors. The driver housing seems to be built ok.
Sound:
The elephant in the room; these are known to have the bass boosted a bit and treble toned down and I must say to my taste they are awesome. I still find upper mid range a tiny bit harsh in some tracks and boy I would have definitely returned the original Salnotes Zero One, but with Zero 2 there's nothing that a little bit of EQ can't fix. The sound is pleasing overall.
The bass doesn't touch the vocals at all and is simply not there if the song doesn't have any (GREAT), the vocal clarity is so good especially the female vocals, the male vocals can sound a bit further but then it varies from one singer to another and the mixing. I love the puchy bass that makes it presence felt without messing up anything else. The details are great and it absolute annhilates the cheap TWS buds you own, and mind you I don't have any lossless music subscription. I listen to them on YT music (Yeah I know not the ideal source) but I still enjoy the listening sessions and I can notice loss compression in songs. I particulary listen to bollywood and punjabi music with a bit of English pop and rap songs, and these are well suited for them. If you are into more complex music, these may not be the right choice. Please remember, the tips you choose will affect the sound, the narrow bore tips will amplify bass while wide bore will open up a bit on mid range.
And if you listen to Arijit Singh or AR Rahman songs, these are tailor made for them.
Gaming:
These are my secondary gaming earphones as sadly these don't come with a microphone so I only use it to play single player games. I did try these with Counter Strike 2 and I could easily pin point enemies, the AWP shots didn't cause me headaches thanks to the controlled bass. With the right seal the noise isolation is near perfect. These have a great potential to be gaming buds.
I definitely reccommend these to people who are just starting out and don't wanna go overboard or break their bank and want a sound upgrade over their regular buds. Everyone has a different taste, reviews can only tell half the story.
Last but not the least, big props to HeadphoneZone for the quick delivery, I had these delivered within 1.5 days to Delhi.

It was my first IEM. Although i was really impressed with the sound clarity of 7HZ. But the bass quality really put me off. There was almost no bass coming out of these IEMS. I so much wanted to flaunt them to my friends, but I can see the disappointment on their face when they listened to them.
Out of enthusiasm, I also bought the DAC to have a really good experience. But it all went in vain. I have tried changing the equalizer to Rock. It did change the bass quality but then it sounded the same as any other headphones.
Hope you have some suggestions to improve this.
