When using the custom lock screen image feature for the first time, copy supported JPG, BMP, or PNG images (recommended resolution below 1000 × 1000 pixels) to the "CustomCover" folder in the root directory of your TF card. You can then set your custom lock screen image.
Changes in V2.57 Firmware:
Added Large, Medium, and Small font size options in System Settings.
Added a detailed information view for the connected Wi-Fi network. Tap the "!" icon to view network details.
Added support for displaying ID3 tags and lyrics in Thai, Czech, and other languages, along with support for sending ID3 tag information via Bluetooth.
Added list operation settings, including long press to show the index, swipe left for batch operations, long press for batch operations, and swipe left to show the index. These options can be configured in Playback Settings.
Fixed issues including mismatched tracks when playing My Favorites via FiiO LINK and no audio output when using AUTO EQ.
Fixed an issue where playback progress did not synchronize correctly after dragging the progress bar for MP3 tracks.
Fixed an issue where external album artwork failed to display for some tracks.
Fixed an issue in USB AUDIO mode where track ID3 information did not refresh correctly after automatic playback completion when gapless playback was enabled.

The Disc is a good sounding DAP , it is clean and crisp and loud enough for anyone. The voice is more on the cleaner side rather than a warm presentation like the Hiby R1.New updates have made it a better option now. Im using it with the Jusear Defiant and it sounds pretty Decent for this price.

After using 2days, it is decent. I am using before kz castor pro improved bass version iem and sony ch 520 headset with S21FE. I am searching better pair for snowsky disc for coming days.

It was such a good purchase , after knowing about the ipod trend i wanted one so bad but then after lot of search i got to know there are new range of retro fashion devices from fiio . Did lot of back and forth and finally decided to buy disc , its like hefty chunk of my monthly salary but still i love it so much the gif lock screen , the slow disc rotation of the music cover theme , i love it , im not a huge audiophile , my last purchase from here was blon bl03 on 2023 so technically i cant give a good review , it sounds good for me ❤️
The Good:
Audio Quality: Powered by dual CS43131 DACs, the sound is thick, lush, and incredibly punchy in the low end, delivering the kind of heavy bass slam that brings tracks to life.
Surprising Power: Despite weighing just 77 grams, it pushes an impressive 280mW at 32 ohms through its 4.4mm balanced output. It has plenty of driving force for demanding IEMs like the Sennheiser IE600 or ThieAudio Monarch MK3.
Design & Build: It measures just 68x68mm and features a round 1.8-inch touchscreen on a square aluminum body which makes it extremely portable.
Connectivity: It includes Wi-Fi for AirPlay, Bluetooth 5.4 (with LDAC), and can act as a wired USB DAC. Battery life is solid at around 10-12 hours.
The Not-So-Good:
Proprietary OS Limitations: It runs a custom Linux UI, meaning no Android apps.

I wasn’t looking for the most powerful DAP, just a small dedicated music player to enjoy my FLAC library without relying on my phone. After considering the Snowsky DISC, Echo Nano, and HiBy R1, I chose the DISC because it offered the right balance of features and brought back a bit of the old iPod Shuffle feeling.
It pairs perfectly with my Simgot EW200, supports AirPlay for discovering new music before adding it to my library, has reliable Bluetooth connectivity, and receives OTA firmware updates. I was aware that wireless file management and USB storage mode aren’t supported with iPhone, so that wasn’t a deciding factor for me.
I’ve intentionally kept my FLAC library to around 100 songs, but it’s nice knowing the DISC is ready if my collection grows over time.
The sound quality has been excellent, but what I appreciate most is the convenience of carrying a dedicated music player and simply enjoying music without distractions.

This is feature rich Value for money DAP.If you don't care about minor bugs(Hires album art not loading, Wifi button getting brick. DSD files not playing...) definitely go for it 🩵 Hope future updates fix it.

Although I was waiting for this device but experience slight disappointment in terms of Bluetooth connectivity... I am using a high-res earbuds with LDAC support and when I try to connect it with snowkey disc in high quality mode (900+ kbps) it gives me Lagg and shuttering at times... Hope the brand will improve that in future... Rest the device is magnificent 🔥❤️👍 must buy totally recommended for music lovers 😍🎶💯
Hearing something new in a song you have heard a thousand times is pure magic.
The form factor is what you will love the most and the rotating album art will steal everyone's attention. The sound quality is pretty awesome for the price. My library is around 2046 flac and ALAC songs, which got updated less than 30 seconds.
I also own the Snowsky Echo - the sound quality is slightly better on that one. But the only issue was navigation and song selection. The DISC solves that issue.
Looking forward to have a protective case to be restocked as soon as possible by HPZ.

My FIIO M3K served me well for years, but it's time for an upgrade.
Initially, I thought I'd buy the Snowsky Echo mini, but the DISC looks so darn cute, lmao.
On a serious note, though, these are my pros and cons. (I'm a person who is heavy into owning what i consume for entertainment thats why I carry a external music player. It needs to have an added benefit of being a DAC for my PC)
Pros:
1. Lightweight but Premium Feel just like my M3K before its all metal, buttons feel tactile and software is serviceable. i was not gonna buy it initially because it lacked gapless playback and custom EQs but they updated the software to V2.09 and it got those features. Bought this immediately. If it gets a Rockbox port, I will be over the moon.
2. Bro it has a streaming feature and also a bluetooth receiver mode at this pricepoint which is so good since i have spotify HiFi. Huge W.
Cons:
Just a single issue i faced is prolly the battery. it doesnt seem repairable its a full seal build but im sure someone will figure it out. im concerned about this because FIIO batteries take a nose dive after 3 Years but i hope this one holds up.
TLDR: Looking for a DAP thats lightweight, plays offline and Online music and also functions as a DAC(384K output is insane) than its an instant blind buy. Thank you for reading, sorry for the yap lol.

Mixed feelings – Great audio, but frustrating bugs
The audio quality on this device is absolutely excellent. However, I’ve run into a few persistent issues that are hard to ignore. I frequently face problems with the Wi-Fi connection dropping. Additionally, when I plug in my earphones, it often fails to play any sound through them at all. I've encountered these bugs a lot of times now. It’s a great device when it works, but these connectivity issues are frustrating.

TL,DR, its an entry level jack of all trades DAPs which has a decent output. Don't expect it to blow you in terms of sound output (especially if you own a Mojo 2 or BTR7). But, as a work out DAP, its really great. Super light and very versatile ...
Perfect for me is the best way to describe this player. I wanted a lightweight portable DAP which I can use during workout. But, I did want a 4.4mm audio jack as most of my IEMs had 4.4mm cable.
This player is just feature galore. You have 3.5mm, 4.4mm and USB audio. In addition, it can be used as a Bluetooth DAC and wired DAC.
From sound quality point of view, the quality is great on IEMs via audio jacks. USB audio is passable, while the USB and Bluetooth DAC modes are below average. It is kind of powerful and even my HD600s are driven to loud enough volumes. But, tonally it lacks the clarity which a Mojo 2 or FiiO BT7 gives. For ₹9000, I don't think its fair to complain, but my ₹5000 Dawn 2 Pro gives better sound quality with the same DAC chip inside.
It might need a firmware update or two to get to that level I think. But, what I was really surprised was how smooth the UI felt. Snowsky has really put a capable SoC to run the software smoothly. My 512GB card with over 10k songs were read within 8-10 secs which is seriously good. I have seen Android DAPs with SD680 taking 20-25 secs. So great job there. I would have liked custom equalizer which I think they should give in firmware updates.
All in all, a great DAP and gets my recommendation.
