ddHiFi Introduces the DJ30SE: A Professional 4.4mm to 3.5mm Balanced-to-Single-Ended Adapter With Full-Metal Construction.

ddHiFi introduces the DJ30SE, a professional 4.4mm male to 3.5mm female single-ended adapter featuring a precision-engineered conversion circuit that taps positive left and right signals from the 4.4mm balanced output and routes return current to the native ground pin, delivering a clean single-ended signal without shorting the negative channel to ground. An AL6063 aviation-grade aluminum alloy shell with thickened anodized finish, full-body EMI shielding, silver-plated OCC internal wiring, and an ultra-compact 5.2g form factor make the DJ30SE a reliable, premium-build adapter for any portable listening setup.

Professional Balanced-to-Single-Ended Signal Conversion

ddHiFi DJ30SE features a precisely engineered conversion circuit that taps the positive left and right signals from the 4.4mm balanced output and routes return current to the native ground pin of the 4.4mm port, utilising half of the balanced output power to deliver a clean single-ended signal. Unlike unsafe adapters that simply short the negative balanced channel to ground, which raises load risk and can damage audio devices, the DJ30SE ensures correct and safe signal handling throughout the conversion.


NOTE: The DJ30SE is not compatible with players whose 4.4mm jack lacks a ground pin, including Sony music players with 4.4mm balanced output.

Full-Metal One-Piece Construction With EMI Shielding

ddHiFi DJ30SE is built from an aviation-grade AL6063 aluminum alloy shell crafted via precision CNC machining, finished with a thickened anodized surface for high hardness and excellent wear resistance across daily use. Full-body shielding effectively blocks external electromagnetic interference, minimising sound quality loss caused by the adapter conversion for a cleaner output signal.

Optimised Compact Low-Profile Design

ddHiFi DJ30SE is developed based on the DJ44L with a further lowered overall profile, staying compact and non-bulky when paired with headphone cables fitted with 3.5mm straight plugs. At just 5.2g and measuring 16.4 x 16.1 x 10mm (excluding the plug), the DJ30SE adds minimal weight and bulk to any portable listening setup.

ddHiFi DJ30SE covers two common real-world scenarios: when your audio player features only a 4.4mm output but your headphones are terminated with a 3.5mm plug, the DJ30SE bridges the connection cleanly.
