TYPE-C DECRYPTION MAKES HEADWAY IN THE NEW ERA
With the increasing use of the Type-C output in mobile phones and computers, digital music has entered into a new phase. USB-C DACs not only make up for the loss of the 3.5mm jack but also provide an enhancement in performance. The TC05 is a Type-C to Type-C data cable which comes with a creatively fabricated design that allows audiophiles to connect to the music source with the decoders. Moreover, the symmetric connector can be inserted either way.
NOTE : If you use it with mobile phones it will start charging the player. Therefore we ask you to exercise caution and not use it with mobile phones.
POWERED WITH AN UPGRADED HIGH-PURITY SILVER-PLATED OCC CONDUCTOR
The all-new upgraded TC05 is equipped with an upgraded conductor containing four strands of distinctly insulated wire. This conductor consists of high purity silver-plated OCC along with a double protection structure. Insulation is also given prime attention with Teflon used for the inner isolation whereas the TPU is employed for outer insulation. You can pair use this cable with USB TypeC terminated decoders and amps such as audio products from Astell&Kern or FiiO. Use a separate ddHiFi TC28i OTG adapter to connect it with iOS devices.

Customers praised this Type-C cable for excellent build quality and reliable performance. Many noted it's "well made" and "gorgeous" with great flexibility and data signal integrity. However, some found connectors "tight fitting" and the price high for the thin wire construction.

I initially though this cable would not work with my Mojo2 and iPhone. A friend told me that if I switch off USB-C charging mode on the Mojo2, it will work flawlessly with iPhones. And that's exactly what I did. HPZ dropped me a BIS email and I ordered immediately.
The 05L cable is very well made, looks gorgeous, is much more flexible than the usual nylon-braided data cables (although i'd like to see it woven into a litz-like structure for the ultra-high-end look) and it just works flawlessly. Data signal integrity is great - I have never faced any dropouts.
The image of the product displayed on HPZ's site as of writing this review is the previous version (which had directional markings). The new versions, which they are now shipping, do not have this marking and are not directional- USB‑C OTG cables are fully functional in both directions which is why ddHiFi probably removed the directional markings; OTG orientation is handled by the connected device, not by the cable. So this cable will work either way.
Stunning cable. Highly recommended. This ends my quest for a great quality data cable. (The quest for a litz-like even more gorgeous cable is still on) :-D

I use these cable with my Shsnling UA2 Plus DAC + amp. These are new model where you can insert any end of the cable in the source as well as DAC + amp. This is a notable improvement over the older cable where it was required to look for arrow matks to determine as to which end will be connected with source and which with the DAC + amp.
Thanks a lot headphone zone for latest product. It makes my DAC +amp and Sony 1000xm3 sound amazing with my iPad 10th generation with Apple music subscription.

Very hard to find a short usbc to usbc cable, so grabbed this, inspite of the price. Pretty much the only alternative.
Data and sound wise, no complaints but cable itself seems thin and I hope it lasts. I will be buying a wire wrapper to bolster the slim wire. For this price was expecting an almost bullet proof level of ruggedness.

The connector exudes high quality without doubt. I didn't find a difference in SQ, but wasn't expecting it to for my entry level IEMs & DAC. But the connectors are rather tight fitting - have to apply considerable force to push it to the USB C ports of my phone and DAC. Using with iBasso DAC/AMP and the stock connector (which I replaced with this one) had no issues and fit like a glove.

Didnt noticed any change in sound quality compared to copper lead cables. It's bit warmer inspite of using Silver conductor.
