ddHiFi - TC28i Lightning to TypeC
Audio AdapterUnfortunately, even if we desire to, we won't be able to resurrect this product. The Museum is where we pay our respects to end-of-life, old, archived, but not forgotten products. This page was made with a lot of love and will live on for posterity. What to say, we're sentimental people. 😔
While this product is gone forever, here are others we recommend
This Lightning to Type-C adapter connects iPhones to USB-C DACs and amplifiers. Customers said it's "well-built" with metal construction for durability and works "perfectly" with most iPhones. However, some experienced compatibility issues with specific iPhone models. While praised for being compact and portable, several shoppers noted it's "pricey" compared to alternatives and only supports audio, not data transfer or charging.
- It's made of metal, so it should last a very long time.
- So much clarity and no leakage in sound.
- Perfect small item that can be easily used with portable usb-c dacs with iphone!
It’s a well-designed,well-made product. Allows me to use my iPad as a source for listening to Apple Music which unlike Android, don’t mess with the sample rate. It’s made of metal, so it should last a very long time.

Builld quality is super…but can’t connect iPhone 7plus….shows accessory not support …
I am searching this type connector and many thanks HPZ for this. An excellent and best suitable adapter for connecting USB DAC with iphone. I have connect the same with my iphone to ibasso DAC and magic begins. So much clarity and no leakage in sound. It seems very well build and durable. This is not for charing iPhone. Highly recommended for iphone user for use of DAC and enjoy songs.
Paired my iphone XS Max with BTR5. Clarity improved specially mids.
Decent build.
Portable. Better than other OTG options.
Recommended.
So glad to know that you love them:) We look forward to serving you again.
Got it to use with my iphone 13, works really well.
Thank you for your valuable review!
Not working with my iPhone 12 , suggest how to return it
We are sorry for the disappointing experience you had to go through. Our team has dropped you an email please check that out once and let us know.
This is a pricey item (taking off 1 star for that), but it works well and as advertised.
I am using it to connect my Qudelix 5k to my iPhone 11 Pro via the Lightning Port. Yes, the Qudelix 5k has Bluetooth but I wanted this adapter so that I can use it without the Bluetooth. The adapter is well-built and the Type-C cable snaps into place tightly and stays there. You can go for this only if you want something compact but now there are cheaper 'Lightning to Type-C cables' available. I expect those would work equally well while saving you 1k.
We appreciate your honest review & ratings, Sameer!

It’s an adapter. Does it’s job.
That’s it!
We thank you for this lovely review & we are glad you are enjoying it! Keep the music playing.
Ever since I got a DAC for my iPhone, I have been waiting for the DDHiFi 28i to be available in India , and thanks to Headphone Zone I had it sooner than I expected! The dongle works very well and provides a very neat replacement for the multiple accessories one has to otherwise negotiate with to connect a DAC with USB-C to the iPhone. The only (-) is the price of this "tiny" accessory.. but it costs just as much in other geographies.
HI,
