I don't leave too many reviews unless I dislike stuff, but these don't seem to be getting any love, so I thought to share my impressions.
The IEMs look huge, but, worry not, they are light, fit well and don't seem to want to keep dropping out of my ears. The cable and included accessories are top notch. No complaints there.
The sound. Oh I have a hard time putting these in a warm/ neutral/ sharp class. The bass is awesome, but then so is the treble and the mids don't feel left out . It's like V shaped fun went nuts and the fun is across the frequency range. I'm sure something must be lacking but these seem to be very little of that. Not to say that these are the perfect headphones, I'm sure normal isn't meant to sound so lively, but damn, I do like these.
I don't know if these are truly open or the grill is just for show, but these do feel more open than other IEMs. That can be a plus or not, depending on your use case. Stage is good enough and imaging is spot on.
For me, these were a stand out product.

FiiO FH9 features a hybrid configuration of 1 dynamic driver working in conjunction with 6 balanced armature drivers. This hybrid configuration is tuned for quick low-frequency response with ample resolution in the mid-range and high frequencies. FiiO has ensured that each driver unit operates to its maximum potential with a specially built cavity structure. FiiO FH9 has also been awarded Hi-Res Gold Standard certification - allowing you to enjoy your music with vivid details and exceptional audio quality.
DESIGNED JOINTLY WITH KNOWLES, FH9 IS EMBEDDED WITH SELF DEVELOPED DYNAMIC DRIVER AND KNOWLES BA DRIVER
FH9 is the first IEM to feature FiiO’s self-developed 2nd generation 13.6mm DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) diaphragm low-frequency dynamic driver. All 6 BA drivers in each ear unit of the FH9 are from Knowles. The dependable SWFK-31736 driver manages high frequencies. In almost two years of thorough research on how to implement the mid-frequency drivers to establish perfect harmony between many drivers for a coherent sound, FiiO has collaborated with Knowles themselves. To increase the efficiency of the newly developed driver, the team of acoustic engineers at FiiO have redesigned the magnetic circuit in the FH9, resulting in a 20% higher magnet density, which produces a magnetic flux to help the driver deliver a remarkable lower-end response. FiiO has implemented its patented semi-open acoustic cavity design in FH9. It results in a natural sound with a comfortable fit suitable for long listening sessions. The semi-open acoustic cavity design maintains a balanced pressure relief between the front and rear cavities of the shell and works perfectly to balance the air pressure resulting in a better soundstage and imaging with smooth layering and texture. FiiO FH9 comes with three interchangeable sound filters, each filter has its damping and filter density. The pair comes packed with a red filter for enhancing bass responses, a green filter for transparent and highly resolving detailed treble focus and a black filter for balanced timbre. The result is a very holographic and airy sound which lets your music breathe and come alive.

FH9 not only uses large-size moving coil units but also uses Lou's ultra-high frequency moving iron units. The bass frequency sound tube features FiiO's patented S.Turbo acoustic technology, which guides sound waves through a turbine-shaped tube to enhance bass frequencies. As a result, the bass is deep and powerful. The meticulous tuning also filters redundant frequency sound from the other high-frequency drivers, ensuring a smoother transition between the bass and the mids.
BUNDLED WITH A PURE SILVER CABLE, SWAPPABLE PLUGS AND OTHER ACCESSORIES
FiiO FH9 comes bundled with a high-purity monocrystalline silver cable with 9 branches of 28 wires each, for a total of 224 wires, with stainless steel angled MMCX connector. Each wire is individually isolated and braided together in a Litz pattern. The MMCX connector is designed with ergonomics in mind and offers an angled connection for added comfort. It also ships with swappable termination plugs with 4.4mm, 3.5mm, and 2.5mm termination plugs included in the package. It provides ultimate sound signal characteristics with ultra-low internal resistance to the signal. There are a total of 15 pairs of ear tips included along with a cleaning brush, MMCX removal tool and a magnetic clamp.
