The FiiO JD3 is the latest addition to the line-up of high-performing budget in-ears from the brand. The FiiO JD3 is equipped with a single dual cavity 9.2mm composite dynamic driver with low impedance (16 ohms) and high sensitivity (107dB). You will have no problems driving the JD3 with a smartphone, tablet, or PC. FiiO JD3 is designed and developed from selected materials. The composite diaphragm of the new 9.2mm wide dynamic driver is driven by a powerful neodymium magnet coupled with a CCAW voice coil. The JD3 produces "deep bass, luscious mids, and bright treble" because of its reflection-absorbing foam ring system enclosed in a precisely constructed outer cavity frame. Despite not being a multi-driver IEM, the JD3's single dynamic driver is tuned to reproduce full-range sound across the frequency spectrum.

METICULOUSLY TUNED ACOUSTICS WITH SOUND REFLECTION ABSORBING DESIGN DELIVERING DISTORTION-FREE AUDIO

A scientific approach is employed to create the JD3's internal acoustic design to ensure optimum driver performance. FiiO has specifically built the inner cavity of the JD3 where the driver is located to prevent unwanted reflections and sound waves that cause distortion. The sound-absorbing foam is strategically placed near the JD3's dynamic driver to absorb sound waves (including reducing standing waves) and guide the rest of the sound waves in the desired direction. The result is a precise sound that elevates and balances tonality, scale, and dynamics. JD3 has resolution and detail up top so each instrument sounds natural and full-bodied.

The FiiO JD3 has been certified by JAS (Japan Audio Society) and CEA (Consumer Electronics Association) to be Hi-Res Audio capable in recognition of its ability to bring you accurate, high-fidelity audio as the artist intended. This certification is the result of tuning and embedding the latest technology. Each component, including the driver, neodymium magnets, and CCAW voice coils, works together to produce an incredibly detailed sound. FiiO JD3 adopts a semi-open acoustic design called the Balanced Pressure Relief System. This patented balanced pressure relief system has numerous benefits. For sound quality, balancing air pressure inside and outside of the JD3 reduces distortion and allows for a cleaner audio experience with essential air and openness. For comfort, the balanced pressure relief system eliminates pressure on your eardrum so you can listen longer without discomfort.

EQUIPPED WITH AN OXYGEN-FREE COPPER CABLE AND HIGH-DEFINITION MICROPHONE WITH IN-LINE CONTROLS PROVIDING CLEAN CALL QUALITY

The FiiO JD3 is an all-rounder in many aspects and is a perfect companion for communication. It has an Oxygen-Free Copper cable that provides clean signal transmission and protects it from oxidation. FiiO JD3 is embedded with HD microphones that allow you to communicate clearly without audio degradation. The embedded microphone is placed 13cm down the cables, so it is placed at the perfect level for the microphone to pick up the voice nice and clear. This microphone offers considerable noise suppression and comes with in-line controls to receive and drop calls. The in-line remote allows you to quickly play/pause and adjust the volume of your music to your liking without having to reach for the source device. The in-line control and the microphone are wrapped in an aluminium shell, to add to the overall aesthetic of the JD3.

SHOWCASING A STRAIGHT INSERTION DESIGN PROVIDING LUXURIOUS COMFORT AND BUNDLED WITH ACCESSORIES

FiiO JD3 sports a straight insertion design, which provides a comfortable and snug fit. This design allows you to freely and comfortably start your musical journey. The left "blue" and right "red" design easily allows you to identify each ear unit. In addition, a tactile dot is also present on the left ear unit as another way to let you know which ear unit is left and right. The JD3 has a bullet casing shell design made of a single piece of stainless steel, a straight nozzle neck and a metal mesh tip guard. The back end of the earphones has blue and red arrow cutouts reminiscent of a Transformers' insignia which makes FiiO JD3 earphones stand out from other IEMs. The JD3 also comes with various sizes of bowl-shaped silicone ear tips to give you the perfect fit for your ears to enjoy comfortable long listening sessions.
