Did not disappoint. Improves sound quality and sound stage drastically while also increasing volume output at the same time.
Delivery by bluedart was an issue as they delayed the shipment by 4 days and did not inform time of delivery.
Looking forward to upgrade soon. Will it be a significant improvement if i go for FA3? Or should i change the brand altogether if i want a considerable upgrade over current one?

I wasn't expecting such a big difference. All my headphones sound richer, fuller and louder now. Tried with CCA CRA, XB450 and Blon BL03. On my phone it wasnt that loud, but on PC using Foobar2000 as source its a game changer. Would highly recommend if you are not happy with your motherboard audio.

A really good product !! Value for Money. I have connected this from my Phone to AV receiver doe the perfect job for MQA formats through TIDAL.

The best audio investment that I have made till date

First of all thanks to Headphonezone for providing authentic and new product And for this DAC just a single word 'Amazing' :) .
This is my first DAC and i've experienced a big difference in sound quality. Currently i'm using BLON-BL03 and Sennheiser HD-206 (thinking about kz-zs10 pro). I'm satisfied with this DAC. I think it is completely value for money.

As a beginner audiophile, I was quite torn between the entry level options from Shanling and Fiio. Long story short, I made a good decision when I chose to go with the Fiio KA1. The build quality of the unit is absolutely impeccable, the cable, although not replaceable, has survived my harsh usage without any visible damage. A year later, I'm super impressed by how it's held up. The sound quality is another tale altogether, because I can tangibly hear the complex notes I could never notice over Bluetooth with compressed audio. While they improve sound quality in general, I noticed the most difference while using high bitrate FLAC files. Overall, a worthy purchase for use with a laptop/mobile phone.

Decent but the IFI dongle is better all around
I’m not sure this is even better than the stock Apple one but it’s cheap enough and different enough in terms of sound signature that some people might enjoy it

Small, compact and powerful DAC. Checked with MP3 and flac files. Sound quality is good. Great VFM

I use this DAC/Amp with 560S, which are already sensitive enough to be used without an Amp and still get plenty of volume. However, it doesn't mean that KA1 is not useful. I have surely noticed an improvement in sound with it. Subjectively speaking, the bass may or may not sound tighter - depends very much on the listener, but treble definitely gets help, overall instrument separation, and soundstage also gets a bit better. The differences won't be like day and night, but one may notice it in some songs more clearly than that in others. I also read quite a number of opinions of users on some of the most popular DAC/Amps in this price range. I preferred KA1 over others for its build quality, and neutral sound, low power consumption, and no heating when active.

FiiO - KA1

Bigger desktop DAC's outperform the KA1 anyday. So it only has portability going for it and VE Abigail had got it there. Sound in comparison to Abigail, will not change dramatically, output from a mobile device is dependent on the files encoding. The max I could get out of this was 24/96khz, thanks to apple music.
So it would seem the Abigail is more value for money. Works everywhere seamlessly, I had some issue while seeing up fiio on windows laptop.

Not good sound signature.it s 45 mw but power consumed more.

When you listen to music in your smartphone, you are actually missing a lot and are not even aware of it. Attach a DAC to your wired headphones and plug in to your mobile phone. Listen to the same tune again. Now the sound of music y will be sharper, sweeter and more detailed. There was so much more to hear ! If you listen to your music from streaming platforms like APPLE MUSIC then the music is simply fantastic. DAC is an essential accessory to your mobile phone for better sound.

It has a small form factor and quite lightweight. Good audio quality and materials.

This is the first time I am using a DAC. I am using it with Sony WH XM1000 M3. It has been a great listening experience. Also looking forward for some suggestion which earphone should be perfect to use with the DAC

It does the work as claimed.
Sound quality of head phone improved. Apple Music is more fun now on little Bose speaker ( battery powered with aux input)
But…. The lightning input jack heats up. And more so when used with USB adapter ( provided with item).
And metal covering from one side came loose from main casing/body.
