Masterpiece is not used loosely here, because when a superbly well made design & unparalleled single driver technology join hands, what we get is exactly as the title says.
Audio products are famously known to incite different responses from different people, but without doubt Final A8000 is one such product that punches much above its weight.
What Final A8000 does surpases even Sennheiser IE600 & also IE900 & I am witness to it as I own all of the above. Clarity, slam, sounstange & naturalness of Final A8000 is remarkable, the beryllium driver used is highly capable, so much so that even multidriver IEM's like Sony IER Z1R, Mest, Mext, Moarch MK2 etc fails to reproduce certain details that Final A8000 does with ease and flair.
Regarding burn-in, Final A8000 requires it as stated on the Japanese manufacturer's website. Everething undergoes wear & tear, & nothing is the same after certain amount of use, may it be electronics or automobiles. So yes, around 200hrs or more of burn-in allows A8000 to be even more nuanced & supple in it's reproduction of music.
The B-stock variant makes it one of the most value for money IEM right now in the market, it is similar to the expensive variant, but with less warranty time period.
After enjoying Final A8000's performance, It seems most of the multidriver IEM's in the market either perform very poorly or have been lazily tuned by those manufacturer's & for this I show my appreciation to Headphonezone for bringing such a worthy product to the Indian market.

EDIT: More than 300 hrs later dunno what has burnt-in..the Beryllium driver or my brain! But there are few ‘changes’ that are noteworthy and deserving of few more rating stars!
What has changed:
1. the already excellent bass response feels even more richer in texture, energy & slam. Pure beryllium uniqueness shines here. I re-iterate once you hear the bass execution here, it will be hard to go back to any other DD, multi-driver set.
2. tonal coherence has improved with bit more mid-bass and mid-range filling in the sound stage than what I could recollect earlier.
3. overall tonality is bit more warm
4. unique sounding and highly addictive IEM for certain genres
What hasn’t changed:
1. upper midrange treatment is still odd (maybe that’s the signature they were going for)
2. highly genre specific
3. revealing sound that isn’t forgiving on poor recordings, poor source, poor set up
4. needs quality amping for it to scale (not difficult to drive but does very well when fed some power)
5. still colder sound sounding for my liking but YMMV.
6. still expensive
This is a collectors IEM and should fit the bill only if one is looking to add a different sounding gear to their existing line up. May not work as a sole IEM as it is extremely genre specific (sounds glorious on well recorded pop, jazz, classical, live rec, unplugged performance). Works for me though!
I just wish HPZ can organise listen-in/demo sessions or tours esp for such niche IEMs so that music enthusiasts (and music lovers alike) can not only benefit/enjoy these products but also aid in better decision making before investing their hard earned cash!

STAINLESS STEEL CHASSIS FEATURING TETRA-CHAMBER CONSTRUCTION
The body for the earpiece is made out of precisely cut stainless steel with a mirror finish to support the driver unit and suppress any unnecessary vibrations. For the A8000, to optimise the driver performance, the inside of the driver unit chassis is divided into four chambers (Tetra-Chamber Construction), the driver ante-chamber and the double construction driver post-chamber and the MMCX connector portion are separated into different areas. Additionally, the use of four chambers achieves a balance between volume and clarity while preventing sound leakage.
REDESIGNED CHASSIS OFFERING A SECURE WEARING EXPERIENCE
The design for the chassis of the Final A8000 has been completely reimagined and re-engineered to offer utmost comfort. Unlike most IEMs on the market, which is designed with an ergonomic shape that rests heavily on the ear and silicone ear tips to keep them in place, the A8000 limits the area that comes in contact with the ear, aiming to achieve a sense of fit with no feeling of oppression. In simpler words, the featured chassis is designed to limit the amount of contact between the housing and the ear. This makes it comfortable and ensures a stable fit for a variety of people.
HIGH PURITY OFC SILVER-COATED CABLE WITH MMCX CONNECTOR
Final A8000 comes with high-purity OFC silver coated cables that provide a wide soundstage. These cables are developed in partnership with Junkosha corporation to be used with the supercomputer “Kei” for their fast signal transmission. The insulator film is made from PFA which was also developed by Junkosha corporation, who used their extensive knowledge to create the ultimate in low-permittivity material. The outer tube is made from PVC for maximum flexibility. You will experience surprising flexibility that both makes the cable extremely easy to use as well as reducing the likelihood of microphonics. In addition, the MMCX plug and the 3.5 mm mini-plug have far exceeded the regular QA pass criteria of a 5,000-time bend test by changing the connection design to one that can withstand more than 50,000 bends, making it truly durable. This durable cable and connector make connecting to a source device easy and seamless.
MMCX ASSIST TOOL AND EAR HOOKS INCLUDED FOR ALL USERS
The A8000 comes bundled with premium quality ear hooks and an MMCX asset tool that are bundled for everyone. The ear hooks bundled with the A8000 are slimmer in dimensions and don’t use any metal or resin wire, this makes the ear hooks comfortable to wear. These ear hooks also feature an affixed lock (B Type) that is capable of holding the cable firmly in place, allowing the user to wear the earphones for extended periods and enjoy their music. There is also an MMCX assist tool included to help remove and insert cables without damaging them. It also prevents the contingency of the cable from becoming severed by mistakenly pulling on the cable portion of the MMCX connector plug.
INTERCHANGEABLE EAR-TIPS AND DUST FILTER WITH CASE INCLUDED
The ear tips for the Final A8000 have been designed from soft silicone for superior comfort and noise isolation. These come in 5 sizes and the right and left earbuds have different coloured markings for easy recognisability and the different sizes also ensure that the sound is transmitted directly to the eardrum. These earphones also come bundled with an aluminium hybrid silicone carry case and dust filter. For the A8000, we have shaped the dust filter in such a manner that it can be removed and replaced by the customer, and a replacement dust filter is included as an accessory. Cut aluminium is used in the case for portions to which force is applied. The interior is a soft silicone dome to prevent scratching. The earphones themselves are gently secured using thin dome-shaped silicon covers making them perfect to carry along with you.
ENGINEERED TO SOUND STUNNING WITH REGULAR USE
The Final A8000 comes embedded with driver units with a diaphragm attached to a voice coil and adhesive agent. With audio signals flowing, the diaphragm moves in minute increments along with the voice coil allowing the sound to be produced. Over time, the diaphragm moves efficiently and the sound changes or ‘ages’. The A8000 has a small aperture, and so an extended period is necessary for changes through ageing to become noticeable. When used for over 150-200 hours, it should feel as though the sound has become stable. Favourable outcomes can be obtained through the ageing of the product, by listening to the music you normally listen to at a volume you usually listen to.

Sound design for these models has been undertaken with attention to the relationship between spatial impression and dynamic range of music, and the physical characteristics of earphones. STAINLESS STEEL CHASSIS FEATURING TETRA-CHAMBER CONSTRUCTION
The body for the earpiece is made out of precisely cut stainless steel with a mirror finish to support the driver unit and suppress any unnecessary vibrations. For the A8000, to optimise the driver performance, the inside of the driver unit chassis is divided into four chambers (Tetra-Chamber Construction), the driver ante-chamber and the double construction driver post-chamber and the MMCX connector portion are separated into different areas. Additionally, the use of four chambers achieves a balance between volume and clarity while preventing sound leakage.
REDESIGNED CHASSIS OFFERING A SECURE WEARING EXPERIENCE
The design for the chassis of the Final A8000 has been completely reimagined and re-engineered to offer utmost comfort. Unlike most IEMs on the market, which is designed with an ergonomic shape that rests heavily on the ear and silicone ear tips to keep them in place, the A8000 limits the area that comes in contact with the ear, aiming to achieve a sense of fit with no feeling of oppression. In simpler words, the featured chassis is designed to limit the amount of contact between the housing and the ear. This makes it comfortable and ensures a stable fit for a variety of people.
HIGH PURITY OFC SILVER-COATED CABLE WITH MMCX CONNECTOR
Final A8000 comes with high-purity OFC silver coated cables that provide a wide soundstage. These cables are developed in partnership with Junkosha corporation to be used with the supercomputer “Kei” for their fast signal transmission. The insulator film is made from PFA which was also developed by Junkosha corporation, who used their extensive knowledge to create the ultimate in low-permittivity material. The outer tube is made from PVC for maximum flexibility. You will experience surprising flexibility that both makes the cable extremely easy to use as well as reducing the likelihood of microphonics. In addition, the MMCX plug and the 3.5 mm mini-plug have far exceeded the regular QA pass criteria of a 5,000-time bend test by changing the connection design to one that can withstand more than 50,000 bends, making it truly durable. This durable cable and connector make connecting to a source device easy and seamless.
MMCX ASSIST TOOL AND EAR HOOKS INCLUDED FOR ALL USERS
The A8000 comes bundled with premium quality ear hooks and an MMCX asset tool that are bundled for everyone. The ear hooks bundled with the A8000 are slimmer in dimensions and don’t use any metal or resin wire, this makes the ear hooks comfortable to wear. These ear hooks also feature an affixed lock (B Type) that is capable of holding the cable firmly in place, allowing the user to wear the earphones for extended periods and enjoy their music. There is also an MMCX assist tool included to help remove and insert cables without damaging them. It also prevents the contingency of the cable from becoming severed by mistakenly pulling on the cable portion of the MMCX connector plug.
INTERCHANGEABLE EAR-TIPS AND DUST FILTER WITH CASE INCLUDED
The ear tips for the Final A8000 have been designed from soft silicone for superior comfort and noise isolation. These come in 5 sizes and the right and left earbuds have different coloured markings for easy recognisability and the different sizes also ensure that the sound is transmitted directly to the eardrum. These earphones also come bundled with an aluminium hybrid silicone carry case and dust filter. For the A8000, we have shaped the dust filter in such a manner that it can be removed and replaced by the customer, and a replacement dust filter is included as an accessory. Cut aluminium is used in the case for portions to which force is applied. The interior is a soft silicone dome to prevent scratching. The earphones themselves are gently secured using thin dome-shaped silicon covers making them perfect to carry along with you.
ENGINEERED TO SOUND STUNNING WITH REGULAR USE
The Final A8000 comes embedded with driver units with a diaphragm attached to a voice coil and adhesive agent. With audio signals flowing, the diaphragm moves in minute increments along with the voice coil allowing the sound to be produced. Over time, the diaphragm moves efficiently and the sound changes or ‘ages’. The A8000 has a small aperture, and so an extended period is necessary for changes through ageing to become noticeable. When used for over 150-200 hours, it should feel as though the sound has become stable. Favourable outcomes can be obtained through the ageing of the product, by listening to the music you normally listen to at a volume you usually listen to.
